I knew he was going to be in Spooks (and the show itself looks promising from the trailers I've seen so far)...episode 3 contains ASH's appearance, I think, although I'm not sure, I'll have to check.

phew! I knew it was coming up, but while I watched the first ep, I was on late shift for the second so I was fearful I had missed it... I'm on a late next monday as well, but at least I am forewarned to tape it.
