wow some really great theories i'd never even considered here - i like the stuff about it being about the darkness in buffy/the darkness in the guys she falls for. i had another thought to throw into the mix - what if it's buffy's subconcious telling her that when she kisses him she'll realise that he's not really her true love/Angel...? a premonition that their relationship won't work because he isn't the one? just a thought - i haven't really decided what i think the line means 🙂

I think that scene foreshadowed that when people dream its usually nighttime and thats how we all knew she was dreaming because as great as Riley was he couldnt really sink the sun. Of course it could have been speaking about 2012 when the lights out on Kali yuga and the new Dharma begins. I think Joss meant the former more than the latter but.. I have been wrong before.. once.


if you dont think something will happen in 2012 you will be surprised. I cant ignore it anymore. It's shaping up to be a blast off! To quote Julian
