What are your memorable BB moments.. first memories, best memories... missed members etc.

First memory: Me writing in my intro thread, with my name, age and nationality.. Ape responding, saying that she had the same name, age and nationaliy 😀

There are quite a lot of members that I miss, but I won't start listing them cause I will forget someone and that's just never cool..

Among others.... the duck duck goose threads.... hehe that was cool.. so nuts.. with the straight jackets and all... the world domination with elmo prez was the bestest... I loved my cowboy hat.... Rayne's craziness and wisdom missed much.... many ppl from a certain thread where we were all there for each other... the thread where BB members were cast as BtVS characters... BB prom... the one about is Hitler being a genious or sth (hehehe.. still feel bad for my reaction epo 😉 ).... the poetry thead.. and lyrics of your life... one of the gay thread and the one about incest... and the would you die to save your love's life.... all the geography, history and chemistry threads (hehe it felt like we were at school)... the restaurant thread... oh my.. many more

and many missed members too...

True... this is actually my first memory of you.. like real memory.. cause i know you had been around for a while but i had never talked to you (yelled at you? :S) until then... oh well... this good it all got cleared up cause then you wouldnt have come to Brum and missed all the fun and not met "certain" ppl... ya know... ha how terrible hehe... 😉

wow, there's just been way to much stuff to remember.

I've been here for about three years, before the time of the BB school.
I just remember having such lively 'arguments' (I guess heated discussions) with some members. Even though we were disagreeing with each other, we were still having a good time.

I miss Rayne, Soulgams, and Happy. They always kept me pretty entertained.

Did anyone got news from her? I remember she came back once after she left.. it was about two years ago (i think?) to say thanks about her bday thread... but nothing ever since...

I have the worst memory ever, i dont remember things below like age 13, sad i know, but i remember alot of people I miss...like Rayne and BlackArachnia and soooooo many others... (I dont mean i have the worst memory of this place...just that i cant remember things in general well...lol...just to make that clear)

and my random convos i used to have with Hero when I first started talking to him...who i still talk to alot...that kid is awesome and i never thought someone i have only met online could be such a good friend...

and the prank Buffy Summers and Faith played on the boards when we all thought it was falling apart....

and when i was new here which feels like so long ago...

Some not so good memories here as well...but most of them are good and they defintiely outweight the bad...

Oh so many memories. There are a few threads that brought me closer to some members... threads that are full of depressing stuff but actually helped me out at the time. 🙂

I have made a lot of friends on this board. And there are many missing alumni who contributed to a lot of those great memories that keep me coming back. Soulgasm... anyone? Kindred (although... she was here a couple days ago). Rayne... Akasha... Lee... LazyDolphin? I miss you guys!

I am not on much anymore but I have so many fun memories from when I used to visit the BB often back in the day! I got to know so many amazing people and had a lot of fun with the people I already knew! Kindred, Rayne, LazyDolphin, Faldor, Soulgasm, polexia, Old Master, Mr. Pointy, killerdwarf, elmo...god, I could go on forever...hope everybody is well!

I miss him too, but you'll be pleased to know that Lee is alive and well - he's changed ALOT 'lol' but you can catch up with him at his MySpace Genocidal Wings if you really miss him. 😉

😀 Cool- I just remember Dec had a fondness for chocolate, & used to complain when he was abroad that he missed it as it didn't taste the same - think that was when he went to Africa...

Oh, and Andy just said that Ross' username used to be 'Tara', & thinking back, I think it was, I know 'birdbrain's real name was 'John'. *G* we were all so young back then - I was even still in my 20's......well, just about 'lol'

hmmm lots and lots of memories over the past 3 years of BB for me and most are hidden somewhere in my mind lol i am not good with long term memory...or short term really for that matter... i just remember all the funny threads expecially ones by soulgasm he always made the giggly kind lol and all the lil fights everyone had over lil things those were fun BAD but fun 😀 and all the great discussions on the episodes of the shows back when their were new eps...

Most missed members hmm lot of them there lol but off the top of my head

I'm still a Diplomat and I fondly remember the board I used to spend FAR too much time on! It's good to see more dedicated people keeping it going. 🙂 I'm in Baku, Azerbaijan now, and will be until 2008. I still miss good chocolate, though the Russian cakes I can buy here are fantastic.

There are quite a few things that are extremely memorable to me. I joined in 2002, I was 15 and a member at Buffy Down Under the Australian Buffy message board. I joined about the same time as Soulgasm I believe and my best on-line friend was FivebyFiveB and she loved Oz. I definitely miss her. I miss arguing with Soulgasm and talking about upcoming seasons and episodes of the shows. This was way back even before we had arguments about B/A vs C/A and/or B/S.

I remember when there used to be a place where they had the top 10 posters listed and my wish was to be number one on that list. (I never made it past 8 or 9, I think. 😀) I also miss Angel Forever and Faldor. Also Amethyst and Diminished_9th. There was so many awesome people who I miss, but we have more new awesome people now.

I remember playing different characters on the last two RPG's we had. I think I must've played Lilah, Darla, Drusilla, Tara, and Willow at various times during them.

Of course there was my Wocket thread that everyone liked and it was even nominated for a board award. That was pretty cool. I liked also being nominated in our house awards. IDAT you guys! (I remember when IDAT was a huge thing and the fact that we had a spy in our house.

I also remember the first thread where I met Dia de la Muerte. I think that we definitely got off on the wrong foot. That thread was very violent. But now he's my buddy. Love ya Alister! 😀 I also remember when my very good buddy Cory joined the BB. Its even more awesome now that he is an active member. (hint hint) I love arguing with people about the B/A'er thing. Everybody knows my position (and if you don't, just ask around) and I've tried not to become to fervent in my speeches. 😉

There was also the time when everbody thought that I was also Harley Quinn and Creative Name. My real-life friends were slightly put-out about hearing about this, when I saw them in class the next day. (You know who you are...😀)

The BB are the greatest. I don't know what I'd do without you guys. I'll post more memories as I think of them.

I miss what we had a few months ago. All the houses were active, members everywhere. Posts being posted every second. I miss the activeness of us, we all seem dead now. So many people are gone that I miss, Miffed67, XDRUX, PrincessZombie, all the people I came on to see everyday arent comming around so much anymore. Its a little lonely these days. :'(
