One more walk down the BB memory lane

I've not been here to long, but I still have some good memories of this place. I agree, we're not as active as we used to be, but hopefully we can get it kicking again!
 
Trying to get Miffed back. Hope she does. She's like my Buffy-Boards mother. Looks out for me ya know. And I can tell her stuff cuz she cant ground me. 🙂
 
I miss XDruX.... 🙁 .... she was always there when i needed to talk to her or wanted a laugh... shes awesome.. miss you!

I miss alot of members actually... as freakydorky said Miffed and Princess Zombie.. hmmm those were the days!
 
I miss the Watcher. He was cool. Except he beat me to every point I wanted to make. But now he's gone so I actually have to post my thoughts. And mine usually make less sense than his 😛
 
dancingman and doppleganger have been gone we wants em back we wants em back! and yeah i miss the watcher too...he entertains me.

Before anyone points it out...yes the Spelling Nazi has got one wrong...difficult though it is to believe...he's sulking now, muttering about how his "stupid old fingers won't type as fast as I think the words"...

Naw, the coffee's great, there something going on where she didnt have internet at home, and message boards and instant messaging were blocked on her comp at work.
 
OMG i miss the days when i knew who everyone was lol... there has been so many name changes and position changes over the years ickle ole me gets confuddled as most of the old and new bb team will know lol
I remember a few old characters but like it was said b4 i wont mention names as i KNOW i will leave peeps out as my brain is mush lol
I remember being young free wild and single lol many a late night early morning spent on bb...
OMG i learnt how to make banners here - a couple of members took me under their wings and showed me the basics..
I met some wild and wicked peeps from all over the world (and some not so nice peeps).. i had a stint on another board as i was sucked into someones messy mental world but thankfully escaped and came home 🙂
I always come back to bb. I think its my safety net now when life gets harsh bb is always here🙂

Ahh, the welcoming embrace of the Buffy Boards. I remember it well. It's always been a friendly place, for the most part. And there's never been a shortage of good people here. It seems that tradition still holds strong with the present roster of members.

I remember the first two members I ever spoke to; the legendary and lovely former Mods Jacklyn and Rayne. They made me feel right at home, and we eventually became great friends. Awesome gals.

I remember a certain older gent going by the name of Mr. Pointy. What a character, that guy. In the olden days of the BB, he and former member Lazydolphin would sometimes get together and speak in geeky computer lingo to confuse us poor layman BBers. 😛 I dubbed them "The Codetalkers". There was even a time Mr. Pointy did a reasonably good impression of a rapper. Good times. 😛

Then there was the hot and cool, sage young brutha known as Soulgasm. One. Of. A. Kind.
It wouldn't do that kid justice to merely speak of his exploits. Just do a search for his threads and you'll see what an entertaining bloke he was...and that's putting it mildly.

But those are just a tiny, infintesimal (sp?) scraping off the tip of the iceberg. There were so many great moments on the BB, but too large in number to document, I'm afraid.

I would just like to give a shout out to some young ladies and gents from past rosters who kept the fun and friendly atmosphere of the BB alive and well......

lol i still have most of those peeps banners on my pc from when i first started ...
Anyone remember tjkphilosipher..?(spelling?) what a chap,his points made me laugh, i remember him from my c.o.a days and briefly here, i wonder where he went..?
 
oh Anchovy.. i totaly forgot woops.. 🙁 there seems to be that a lot of our well known members are no longer around... I talk to some of them... i dont realise that some of them have gone when i talk to them on msn.. such as Faldor.. he doesnt seem to come on much does he...
