One Night Stands

If you could choose the characters from the combined Buffy/Angel cast for the ideal "single night of sheet scorching passion," who would it be? My nomination would be Spike and Faith. Their interaction both when Faith was wearing Buffy's body and their few moments alone in the basement in Season 7 seemed to me to generate quite a bit of heat.

Is this for a sex scene that we'd actually like to see, or just for a pairing that we'd like to have a one night stand?

For example, Giles and Joyce had a one night stand, but we didn't see it. The action was off-screen. So would it be within the parameters of the topic to say Giles and Joyce? On the one hand, we never saw said sheet scorching passion (there were no sheets!), so maybe we'd like to see it. On the other hand, it did happen already, so it would be weird to put it on the show again.

For another example, what about spike and Drusilla? Would they count? They were an established item, but then they broke up. We never actually saw a bedroom scene with those two. It was all implied. So would it be possible for me on-topic for me to say that when she came back for the episode "Crush," I totally wanted them to hit the sheets?

I meant something similar to the Spike/Anya or the Xander/Faith one night stands. Not necessarily a big on screen sex scene, just a couple, preferably one of each gender, that you think might make an interesting share a brief moment of passion. Sheet scorching would be optional.

Hopefully you guys don't think I am a total weirdo for saying this but I think it would be hilarious for Spike and Angel to get together their chemistry is just amazing and they are just perfect for each other both torchered and trying to get redemption so it could start on an innocent night just going out for a slay and the next morning..."Spike?" I'd go for Anya/Buffy :lmao: nah but really, I don't know who'd I'd like that to happen to. One night stands in the past on the show seemed to wreck things.. Willow/Xander's little make out ruined Willow/Oz almost. Spike/Anya further separated Anya/Xander. Buffy.. lol

But Anya scorching any sheets if I had the option, Idk what 'man' I'd choose... none really that I can think of. Not Giles, Not Angel, Not Spike, Not Ethan, Not Johnathon, Not Andrew, Not Riley. Maybe Oz.. but still.. nah..

Dawn and Connor. They have so much in common, although thinking about it as i type, maybe they should be the next 'it' couple and not a one night stand... Would that be Dawnner or Cawn?

I'm gonna vote for Willow and Fred. They were just adorable in their one Angel episode together. The flirtiness was really cute!

I also second DarklyDreamingDrusilla's Angel and Spike idea. Bahahaha. The morning after scene would be priceless! And every little interaction thereafter. I think I'd die of laughter.

Illyria and anyone. It would a whole different kind of hilarious. Maybe Xander, since he's the demon magnet.

If I put my funny bone aside, though, I'd have to say Giles and Faith. The idea came to me in one of the comics. They actually have a lot in common. He's never been her watcher or a long-term presence in her life, so it's not like the have the parent/child bond going on. Plus, they're really hot.

And Xander and Dawn. I imagine this as being a really sweet connection. Like, a before they die kind of thing. Wannabee-Slayer converted me.

Either Faith and Spike because the sexual tension between those two was just....grr, Haha.
Or my other option would be Giles/Anya. They did have great chemistry and picturing the aftermath scene of how the two of them would react to a one night stand is just very amusing to consider. Hehe

Faith/anyone would do cause that girl sure knows how to bring some heat! Okay, so I wanted to DIE when she and Wood hooked up. That was like the worse Whedonverse-faux-pas ever! I would most of all like to see Buffy/Faith in the style of season 6 Spike/Buffy.

Xander/Illyria. She reminds him so much of Anya, the way Illyria isn't used to the human culture, the strange even way of talking, the tactlessness, all will remind Xander of Anya. And while having sex with Illyria, he'll remember Anya, and then feel twice bad for using Illyria like that.

I'd love to see a one night stand Xander/Buffy. Both mourning the loss of Spike and Anya, too drunk, depressed, take comfort from each other.

I love this idea. I think it would be a very sweet and soulful scene reminiscent of the Spike/Anya scene so that they would both finally be able to say, "Oh. NOW I get it." Whether it included sex or not, I always imagined that Xander and Buffy were there for each other after that.

Seeing how close Buffy and Xander are in S8, it is possible they grieved together. 🙂 But I'll argue that Buffy and Xander were becoming closer since S7, with the whole taking care of Dawn thing, being father and mother of the house.

As for Xander/Illyria, I didn't mean that Xander will be upset about Anya, he'll be upset that he shagged Illyria because she reminded him of Anya, which means he used poor Illyria.

Spike and Illyria would be pretty crazy.
Spike and Faith is practically a given in terms of a hot idea.
Or a flashback of Spike and Darla....Angel all ensoulled and catching them in on it and not really knowing how to handle it.

Very random idea....Lindsay and Buffy. It just popped into my head and made me laugh and then thoughtful. I have no idea how to work the storyline but maybe.
