A game of Footy was interrupted when a group of Emu's decided to take a short cut over the pitch the other day.

And just for those who don't know much about Emu's, they are flightless birds that normally grow to 6 foot tall.

Can they kick? Maybe they should be on the team. They may not be as strong as ostriches, but a 6-ft bird should be able to score from anywhere on the pitch.

I don't mean to joke about quokka soccer, but
they are advertising Rottnest Island on tv for the off season. I cant remember it ever needing to be advertised for in the middle of a season before? There used to be a lottery to see who got to stay on the island, and waiting lists of years even in winter! Does everyone just go to bali instead now?
