Only One Slayer?

It was always only one girl to stop the vampires, the demons and all evil, but I don't know how one girl would be able to save the whole world, especially Buffy who remained in one place for the whole series. Did the other slayers perhaps travel?

Buffy was in the best place she could be to help the world. Right on the hellmouth (forgetting cleveland for a moment) Sunnydale was the centre for all evil thats where it was drawn.

Well I think you have to look at the origin, At the start the one girl was protecting a small enough tribe, the world grew but the men didn't want the women to have that kinda power, they needed to control her, so having more then 1 slayer would have been dangerous.

In the modern world you had the Watchers council, who would send the slayer where she was needed, they had a network of watchers all over the world and could send the slayer around the place, like Kendras did, or how Kennedy was raised.

maybe there were other slayers outside! We just don't get told about them. Maybe they do their jobs on anotheroplace on earth. Only the watchers know where they all are.
