I've just realized that I've never introduced myself.

As you can tell from my profile I'm female and live in Germany. Which of course means that English is not my first language but I try as best as I can to get my points across.

I've watched Buffy/Angel since they first aired in my country and later when my English was good enough in the original language (I prefer that with all shows/movies).

I've probably been following the BB long before I ever signed up. I'm usually too busy with my life to have the time to really talk online so I tend to not post all that much. And then only about topics I'm passionate about.

If you have any questions for me/about me fire away. But no flamethrowers...

Well actually considering the freaking cold weather here I might have been too hasty in that regard. Just aim next to me not at me. Ok?

Mmm that's difficult for me to answer because I don't really have one. I love a lot of them. Then they have phases where I really hate them. There are some characters that I just can't stand for various reasons. From my posts on this forum I guess it's kind of apparent that Spike and Dawn are 2 of them. Because I'm all about the Core Four and what these 2 did to the show and what was done to other characters to keep these 2 on the show...well I'm really violently opposed to their effect.

And also, love your Puppet Angel avatar!

First I had my dolphins up but those were deleted. *sniffles* But puppet!Angel is made of win. Love that episode.

It's the first time I ever wanted to hug Angel. After he beat up Spike in the elevator and said to Harmony 'Get my call list. And Spike needs a car.' and they show the long walk back to his office I find myself going all 'aww, come here'.

Oh so weit weg. Ist es bei euch da unten auch so verdammt kalt? Ich habe jetzt schon genug vom Winterwetter. Nichts hilft außer mich direkt um die Heizung zu wickeln.

Ja, es ist echt verdammt kalt die letzten Tage. Ich habe eigentlich nichts gegen die Kälte, wenn man Wintersport betreiben kann, aber so macht das keinen Spaß...

Leider ist es hier zu flach um Wintersport zu betreiben. Die nächsten Berge sind ein Stück weiter weg. Aber ich sehe es mir gerne an. Ich hasse es nur weil man einfach nicht warm wird. Während ich hier schreibe sind meine Finger eiskalt, ich habe 4 lagen Kleidung an, eine Decke um mich geschlungen und die Heizung ist 1 meter von mir entfernt. 🙁

Bei dir fängt es erst an wenn du as dem Haus gehst? Bei mir schon sobald ich einen Arm oder ein Bein aus dem Bett bewege. Ahh Kälte. Ich bleibe lieber unter der warmen Decke. Leider geht dass nur nicht wenn man auf Arbeit muss.

Gab es bei euch schon Schnee? Wir hatten vor ein paar Tagen ein wenig.

Well a delayed welcome RomanticSoul, though we've talked before haha.
I too love the Puppet Angel avatar. I really should watch the final season, I've been made to be quite intrigued by the idea of that episode.

I came in late to the fandom. I've been a fan of both series since just last year, my mother kinda shoved the pilot of BTVS in my face back in high school but it wasn't until 2 years after I graduated that I got into vampires so though I watched it I didn't really get into it at the time.
I actually ended up watching Angel first the second time around, with prior knowledge of it due to having over heard mother watching it several times but then after Faith's first appearance decided I should pause and return to BTVS to fill in a ton of blanks that had been brought up by that point.

I'm still working on season 7 of BTVS as well. I've got three of the comics for season 8 so I figured I might as well finish it off so I can read them.
I've also started reading the Angel novel series, I just received the two I recently ordered in the mail today and have cracked open the first one.
Honestly I'm more into Angel than BTVS.

Anyway hehe that's my fandom story.

I'd wanted to take German in my senior year of high school but it only offered during one period and I couldn't open it up. 😛 So I ended up in French which wasn't too bad, being the only senior in the class was certainly interesting and it meant I had a much simpler final because the seniors' final week was a week before the rest of the school. My late father served in Germany and knew some phrases, it's somewhere in my blood as well.
