Opening new doors...

Ok...I can be a total flake and I haven't been on here very regularly for a while now...when I was I was on so much and saw so many threads that I can't be sure that this has or hasn't been done. My appologies if it has. Anyway, I was chatting with Killerdwarf and he made me realize something that has, in turn, made me wonder about all of you.

As it has been brought to our attention there have been many threads that have shared who we consider our friends to be over and over...well, I'm not asking who your friends are here. Here, I just want to know who you WANT to get to know better. Which members have you been itching to strike up conversations with but may have been too shy or hell, even too lazy to? Well here's your chance. Let them know now.

Who knows, maybe this is a chance to open new doors, gain new and valued friendships.

Anywho, there are oodles of people that I would love to talk to a little more and perhaps get to know better, but off the top of my head.... Cordelia and I seem to always have great disscussions in threads, and even when our points of view are very different, we manage to really get into the topic without going over the top or taking any of it personally... We always keep things level and listen to what one another has to say. I really value that.

And of coarse you Rayne, I don't now you at all.....

but...i..am a talkative person that loves talking, and...hates..singling out. i'd love to talk to pretty much anyone here, can't promise a good convo or anything,....but...might get a long ramble, cuz..face it, its me. shouldn't expect otherwise. not even when im sick. 😀 course..then..no one can talk to me...so..i have...huge convos in my head....not..wiht..me..well..not...all the time....and..no ...made up people..i..just...memorize people?...and....*shrugs* i'll talk to anyone that wants. not that particular.

I'm just starting to get to know Killerdwarf after all this time...and enjoying it very much. I like Mr. P. Has a good Older brother or uncle vibe that gives him a comforting feel. I think I'm too shy too talk to talk to NFH...maybe...he's intimidating for some reason. I wouldn't mind getting to know AshSan better...noticed that Beer_Nut and I agree a lot...he seems like a rockin' guy um..........I know there are lots of people I love posting with that I don't really know yet...I started the thread, yes, but that doesn't mean I thought about MY answer...lol. And even then there are lots of members I don't get to chat too much with anymore but we've gotten to know eachother in the past...so do we count them or no? Beats me. I just know that many of you intrigue me and I would like to know more about you as individuals. Akasha and I were STARTING to get to know eachother but then I think I left for a long while...she seemed very cool...Jenny is a total sweetheart! I wouldn't mind knowing her more. Honestly, I love getting to know people period. I'm with faiths5x5 on that. But I was only hoping that this could be a place where we could tell those that we admire or find particularly interesting just that...get some new friendships started.

But on the all in all, not wanting to single people out, I'm more than willing to talk to anyone. There's been a couple of members who have reached out and began talking to me and unfortunately, even though I hide behind my computer on here...I'm the same girl in real life who always fears the initial meeting of people. I tend to hang around with very outgoing people who make the getting to know you process very easy. I gotta stop w/ my silly insecurities 😀

But to those people on here who have taken the time out to get to know me, thank you...you guys make my experience w/ BB so much fun. And if I don't know you that well...I'm here a lot so we'll just have to change that 🙂

I totally agree with your comment about getting to know anyone and the thanking of those that have taken the time to talk to us...it's always scary getting to know people at first...but so many of them make such great friends. Like OM and I. He's one of my most best buds now...and all becuase of a few silly PMs...
Again though, I'm not asking anyone to leave anyone out...just wanna give people a chance to let eachother know that they might both want to start talking when they might not have otherwise. 😉

I was surprised to get some PMs from people I didn't really know too much before, Jacklyn, Jenny, BillieHunter & NSlayMode included (all so cool 😀 ). I've really gotten to know them much better through this. I think people, especially the newbies should really take us up on our offers to PM us if they need anything from members that have been on the boards for a while.

Well you Rayne, Magui gave me your MSN about a month ago and you havn't been on, or dont want to add me (how rude 😛). I've enjoyed our little PMs but you know, mother with kids, busy busy I understand.

I dunno how im going to go through this post without forgetting people so sorry if I do.

OM because he seems like fun to talk to, Ment Patient seems cool in that non-high-school-populars-version-of-cool way, momentary_grace but thats because of Karma, barely seen her around here. Xander Harris because I need someone to talk Nick with ^_^. Jenny seems like a nice person. Mr.Pointy I could imagine would make for interesting conversationism as well. Oh and nerd4hire but I think it would turn into "big words hurt my brain" kind of thing, but thats a good thing. I'd try and have a stimulating conversation with him though. I'm gonna have forgotten people I know but ah well.

The people I do talk to, Magui, Faith, EDB, Niobe, Angeluz and probably more that surprise surprise I've forgotten are fun and nice to talk to. I was telling Magui none of my friends watch Buffy so I like having this place and people on MSN to natter on about it.

I talk to a couple of people from here and lately ii've gotten busy so SORRY to the people i do talk to but really haven't talked to in a little while....
But I'm a really shy person so i dont talk to people the friends i do have from BB have most likely contacted me and all i have sometimes but i have a big fear of like being annoying....But if i were to get up the courage and time to talk to more people i'd say Lethe,Elmo, Cordelia, Rayne, Kindred, Faith, Buffy Summers, Ashsan, Shell, all the newbies!!! and pretty much the rest of the bb members 🙂
