I liked it and thought it was important to be made. I have gone through similar things as Hannah and can see most peoples sides in it. I feel it dealt with the trauma stuff pretty well, it needs to not be skipped over. I feel like it is better to bring awareness, rather than something for people who might be triggered by it. As a survivor of many similar situations, I sat through it just fine, but everyone is different, so its at a viewers discretion. I am happy they also did some research. I did not find her suicide believable however. It was over the top and I see her as more of a pill taker. That gruesome death doesn't really sit right. Not that any death is right. As far as the tapes... she did those when she was super upset (and angry even, or trying to be.. going in and out of numbness)... normally after doing the tapes shed be able to calm down and recalculate stuff, but instead triggered herself further by going to the councilor, who was never really that reliable. I think she wanted a reason to just get it over with.. Ive felt that way before. It does really suck she never talked to her parents 🙁 I am curious what season 2 is going to be like...
