Allright, I was trying out a new format for this forum where we would have one thread per episode for spoilers.

Do you spoiler-readers think this is a good idea? Do you prefer to have multiple threads so you can pick and choose which spoilers to read? Would it be better just to have people mark their threads as having spoiler from 'episode 4' or whatever?

Please give me your thoughts so I know how to proceed with the forum.

I think there should be one thread for each ep, but in the thread, it should be divided into "Spike and Angel spoilers for this episode," "Fred and Wes spoilers," etc. and labeled clearly so that one reader can pick and choose and another reader can read all the spoilers for the complete episode. Does this make sense to anybody?
 
Yes, except that that would kind of a lot more work. Especially since once people post, you can't go back in and insert a post.

Another problem that's arisen is that no one on staff, including me, wants to read spoilers.
 
One thread per episode, and no parts only for certain characters, you either get spoiled or you don't, if you don't want to read it, don't go in there, for once I'd like a place for spoilerppl to talk freely, without people whining about they didn't want to read it ... that's the risk of going into the spoiler sections imo.
 
Well, you can talk freely in this forum. The question is whether people like reading a piece at a time, or want them all in one thread. 🙂
 
i like it, but it kinda makes my head go "ugh" (but trust me it doesnt take much for it to do that LOL)

i guess its just cause im not used to it yet, but yeah, it makes a tidy-er forum!
 
Yeah, it makes for a more tidy forum if you post one spoiler thread for each episode that contains all spoilers for that particular episode.

And, if someone makes the choice to enter it is going to be an "all or nothing" type of thing.
 
So maybe we just have one spoiler thread for each episode, and people can post in it, but I won't do the thing with listing the spoilers at the top so that people can more easily pick and choose what they read in detail? And for other kinds of spoilers that go across multiple episodes people can start new threads?
 
to be honest i dont know what you guys mean, oh nevermind after carefully reviewing it i understand, yes thats a great idea! *just smile and nod*
 
I think just let it run itself, not one thread per ep, as there are also news facts that strech over more then one episode.

Here's another id, maybe you can amek it that, only if you opt to, the thread titles will appear in the 'View New Threads' section!
