The toothy type has been created by Japanese designer Takauki Ogawa who was inspired by the the mouth’s ability to express such a wide range of emotions by itself.

made from stone powder clay, acrylic paint, varnish, wood and iron. No mouths were harmed in the making of the alphabet.

Oh god, these are going to haunt my nightmares. 😱

Their going to chase me forever and try and devour me with their big, toothy mouths...🙁

Mind-wipe please. I need to unsee this.

If he could get the mouths shaped to actually produce the speech phonemes corresponding to the letter, it would have been really fantastic. Can't think of a place I would want to hang that, however.

Haha, if I could I would totally get one and hide in your room and odd times 😉

You're so evil! lol
They look pretty cool from far away, but up close (like in the 3rd picture) they are sort of creepy haha.

At first I thought the mouths were shaped the way they look when saying the letter but around G-L I realized that that was not the case.

Yea, I've got a dirty mind. These things are totally creepy looking though. It's like an alphabet horror movie waiting to happen.
