Is anyone else watching this? It's another show from Netflix. I'm three episodes in and so far I'm loving it.

The trailer has some strong language and imagery so please use discretion when vieweing it.

I don't blame you for liking this series, Piper at least has the courage to face the music for what she's done.
I saw this advertised the other, seems pretty good. I would probably watch it but I don't have Netflix.

I'm looking forward to starting this. From the add it looked great, and I loved Weeds so I have high hopes.

Just finishing Vampire Diaries and will be starting it over the weekend.

I'm so happy you made this post!
YES, I binge-watched the first season (something I have to make up for now lol)

It's fantastic. I think fans of Weeds are certain to love it! Jenji knows how to tell a story. My warning to all: try to spread it out and DON'T watch the finale any time soon; they have been renewed for a second season but I don't know when it's coming out (presumably a year?) and you don't wanna wait that long to see what happens next. Boo.

But yea...SO many things to talk about!

I'm on the last ep now, I'm dreading watching it, so scared and excited to see what will happen, last thing I want is a cliffhanger that will last a year
I'm watching it too! I'm on 7 now. I love that the norm is female characters that are gay/bi. Doesn't happen often (ever?) that that is what's dominating. I think it's a really funny and well made show too. All of the characters have their strenghts and faults, which I think indicates a good show, that noone is perfect. 🙂

ALSO - Janeway is in it and that makes me want to cry out of happiness! 😀

I've just watched the first 2 episodes! I love it! For some reason it sort of reminds me of the L word a bit, maybe that's just because they had a prison storyline and both feature a lot of LGBT characters.

Anyhow, so far loving it, I'm super excited to watch the rest.

I finished the show last night and I really cannot stress how good this show is and how brilliant the cast is. I honestly feel it is one of the strongest casts on TV (is this Tv in the strictest sense?) right now. All the Emmys. ALL OF THEM.

Also, fun Whedonverse fact: the creator Jenji Kohan is Marti Noxon's sister-in-law.

I'm half way through it now, really liking it. The cast is great and I love that each episode still revolves around the main character, but also the background of another. It's definitely way more of an ensemble cast then I was expecting (I just watched prison break, so was maybe expecting 4/5 core characters)

I started Hemlock Grove and really liked it at first, but got bored and haven't finished it (so glad netflix keeps where I left off), I'm almost finished House of Cards, but I'm watching it slowly cuz it's very heavy. I'd definitely count OITNB as the strongest of Netflix original series

I think OITNB is gonna be too late for this years Emmys, I'm not sure but I though I read somewhere that Arrested Development was just in time for it. Which, if true, is a pity cuz the buzz will have died down when it's eligible next year.

That's a pity because I definitely think they deserve recognition. I agree about it being the best of the shows that Netflix have produced. I enjoyed House of Cards but this is has been WAY more enjoyable for me.

You are the master of Netflixy workarounds! Didn't even think of that...dumbass!
I watched the trailer. Not gonna watch the show (not really my kind) but I find funny that it does look a whole lot like a Quebec tv show that started last fall... Don't know which started first so I'm not going to accuse the producers of either show of anything but... yeah kinda found that funny a bit. XD

You know what, I said the first thing when I saw the trailer, actually I didn't think it looked very interesting. After watching it, the trailer isn't very accurate I find. I think I know which Quebec show that you are talking about (although I don't remember the name), but they are very different. Also, this show is 100% better than the trailer makes it looks. I was never a fan of cop/prison show, but the characters in this one are so dam good I cannot not watch.

Loving your av :)
I would LOOOVE to watch this but I'm severely lacking Netflix.

Sidebar: My desire to view isn't diminished any by the fact that Regina Spektor -- only one of the greatest musicians of all time ever -- does the theme song, either. Buh!

Wanted to give you some rep but apparently I can't do that haha, just agreeing on the theme song and artist, such a good song too!

I've been watching at my friends, although she's getting a bit annoyed of me stealing her netflix 😛 I guess you could stream/download it off the internet, but that's not very honest and kind of illegal :S

Crazy Eyes monologue during the scaring the kids episode was AMAZING!

I'm on the last episode, it actually got better as it goes on.

So you've convinced me to watch this. I'm in no hurry though. Just sucks waiting for a new season when you've found a great show.

I just started watching yesterday and am really enjoying it. The casting is great; does Piper remind anyone else of a blond Katy Perry?

Ugh, only downside to binge watching awesome shows is having a long wait until the next season.

Very entertaining show to watch. Being a long time fan of Weeds I was expecting a very funny and interesting show and cast and was not dissappointed. Jenji Kohan is an awesome writer, she really makes you connect with the characters in ways you don't even expect.

Just finished the season a two or three days ago and I am suffering from withdrawals ={

Taystee, Poussey and Sophia are my favs, but I practically love all the women, I hate the men tho ={ Except John, he's boring but he's not awful, plus he's super hot *___*

I hope next season focuses more on the Latina's, they were hilar and amazing, but got so little screen time bar Maya ={ Also more Sophia, she is amazing.

Oh yeah definitely, she looks so much like Katy Perry
