original plan for the gift

yeah i heard this somewhere else about anya dieing. I'm really glad that she didn't die!! I think it would have been really sad and also would have taken away from buffy's big death
 
The musical episode in the s6 wouldn't have been the same w/out Anya to do her little Bunny part. 😀
 
It really would have been a pity to kill Anya off. When Cordy left, I really missed the bluntness. Anya was great with that. The show would have had much less humor without her. Glad she stayed!

did u guys know that the "original" plan for the ep. the gift sunnydale was gonna be sucked into the hellmouth~ willow was supposed to go bad and join glory after tara dies~ and xander was supposed to be xander/glory instead of ben~ and of couse anya was supposed to die.
 
Really? Im guessing this would have only been if it was the end of the show!

In a way it is sort of true, Joss had many plansfor the show that didn't end up going the way he thought they would. Anya was suppsoed to die during season 5, season 5 was also suppsoed to be the season that Willow turned evil, but Joss liked the Tara Willow relationship so he prolonged it. Keep in mind that Joss thought that season 5 was going to be the last season, Sunnydale falling into the hellmouth is also likely that that was true. Ummm, never heard of anyting about Xander being Glory, that would have just destroyed the character.

yeah, i guess if it was going to be the last season but if not, then it doesn't really work. The male slayer, i really like your willow banner!
 
I have heard that the idea for the Gift was originally ment as Show finale, so this makes sense.
