Original/Screen-used Props & Wardrobe

Did a quick search, and it seems all of the screen-used props/wardrobe threads are in the cemetery... Now if this were Really Sunnydale, the dead could rise again (but we aren't quite sure how to make that happen 😛), so we're hoping to birth a new discussion on it!
For starters, a few questions:
1) What are your thoughts on screen-used stuff? (We love it! ...but we know equally fanatical Whedon folks who think they're a huge waste of money. To each his own! What's yours?)
2) Do you have anything screen-used (or made/obtained to be used on screen, backup pieces or whatnot)? (We can't post links yet since we're new here, but we'll share once we have enough posts to do so...)
3) Does anyone know what ever came of some of the bigger deal Whedonverse items (Claddagh rings, Scythes, etc.)? (We know some stuff, but we wanna know what you know!)

Screen used props are cool but their pricey. Unless its signed by someone you may as well get a very well made replica. I'm not sure about any big name screen used props aside from Spike's jacket which was given to James Marsters after the show ended and was then auctioned off for a pretty penny all of which was donated to charity.

Didn't Alyson Hannigan say she took the knob-y thing at the end of the Summer's banister after they'd filmed the final scene in the house? I remember her saying something about how it used to fall off all the time when they were shooting, so at the end, she just decided she was gonna take it, lol.

As for props or clothes used in the show - or any show - I don't think I would ever fork out the cash for something like that. Not only would it be majorly expensive, but it would be pretty much meaningless to everyone but you and a few close friends.

I'd rather spend my money on conventions, getting to spend some time with the actors I admire and listen to their views on the characters they played. That's worth a whole lot more to me.

I believe I've read that Joss has one of the scythes. Either the hero one or one of the rubber versions...

I mostly agree with [MENTION=6332]Lyri[/MENTION]. Props are cool but there are many cooler Buffy-related things my money could go to!
