Has anyone been watching this show besides me?

Personally love it. Great story, great characters, and great plot twists. Pretty similar to Buffy in that sense as well as providing strong and likable characters from both genders. Plus, Tatiana Maslany deserves an Emmy and/or Golden Globe for her performance...

Kind of bummed Season 2 has ended, can't wait for Season 3. And if you haven't watched it yet, I definitely recommend giving it a chance!
 
I really love this show! I didn't love season 2 as much as season 1, but I still really enjoyed it.

I always thought the premise sounded really boring. But I finally sat down and watched it and I was hooked straight away 🙂

I love Felix and Alyson 🙂 And your so right, Tatiana Maslany's performance is amazing.

Ironically, I liked Season 2 more. S1 was great, but S2 was amazing IMO.

All the characters are very likable. Felix, Alison, Sarah, Cosima, Kira, and the list goes on.

Don't wanna give too much away, but what did you think of that last plot twist in S2 at the end? Gonna really change the dynamic of S3.

Hehe. I really loved that bizarre play that Alison was in. Both Alison and Donnie together where so funny this season.

Well, I was pretty distracted while watching season 2 on tv. Maybe when I get it on dvd and watch every episode back to back I will like it more 🙂.

I'm definitely curious about that last plot twist. I was wondering how they are going to keep the whole clone thing interesting as the seasons progress, and this will shake things up. I'm looking forward to season 3 🙂

Alison and Donnie were great, you're right. Especially that scene they had in the garage. Hilarious.

It'll be a huge shake-up. I'm really looking forward to the character progression of the clones as well. Also, Kira has got to be the bravest six(?) year old out there.
 
Can't believe I haven't watched this sooner. This is pretty much a show from heaven for science nerds.

Interesting. I asked the boards previously what my summer watch should be - OB or Teen Wolf - in the end I picked Teen Wolf, but your comment makes me feel like I need to get into to OB as well 😀 Oh if only I had more time... 🙂

To be fair I only saw the first few eps at my friends (dam you Netflix for not having this), and it might be a while since I watch the rest of the series, but from what I saw I really enjoyed it. So I guess my opinion is not worth too much, for all I know maybe s2 absolutely sucks (not from what I heard though, so I think watching this is a safe bet).

But I have to say, the science on this show is pretty cool. I love it when shows use science somewhat accurately, okay it's fictionalize a lot too, but the ideas behind the show are actually pretty close to reality. I'm just a huge science nerd 😛

It's an amazing show - I actually watched because so many people from tumblr were so impressed. One episode and I was intrigued - two and I was hooked. It is on Hulu for anyone interested. Yes, it's perfect for science nerds. I just want to echo what everyone says! 😀

Don't worry, season 2 was epic. 😀

Even better than the first one, IMO.

Also, you guys will like this- it drew comparisons to Buffy for the plethora of strong characters from both genders.

That's good to know!

And can I just say that I think I'm completely in love with Tatiana Maslany. Man, that girl can act! I think it's the best example of an actress playing multiple role so well. And as much as I love Eliza Dushku, Orphan Black is a bit what I wish Dollhouse would have been in terms of acting/having multiple characters played by the same actor.

I agree wholeheartedly. I love Eliza Dushku as well, but Tatiana Maslany was fantastic in OB so far. Just wait until you see her in Season 2!!

I thought it was a crime that she wasn't nominated for an Emmy. One of the most talented actresses on TV right now.

And again, Eliza is awesome, but imagine Dollhouse if she had Tatiana's acting skills?

I finally got around to finishing s1, now I started s2! This show was such a pleasant surprise! I'm seriously in love with the characters.

I also just realized that TM played Ghost in Ginger Snaps (one of my favourite movie franchise). That kind of blew my mind.

I'm now almost done s2! I had heard it wasn't as good as s1 but personally I like it better. I have so many favourites lol. My top 5 would be Cosima, Sarah, Felix, Helena, and Mrs. S in no specific order. This show really messes with my head sometimes, I can't be the only one that thinks Tatiana Maslany has great chemistry with herself? It's is really, really well filmed. The poor girl must have to do some scenes so many times.

Who are your favourites?

I personally thought S2 was better than S1 myself, so you're not alone there!

It's a crime that Tatiana wasn't nominated for an Emmy, let alone winning one. Interesting point about chemistry with herself, haha.

I have a few favorites as well- Sarah, Alison, Felix, Cosima and Kira probably are mine. No order there. I love the relationship between Alison and Donnie as well.

Completely agree about TM not being nominated. I truly don't understand why, I just have such an admiration for the actress now, she deserves to make it big. I wonder how much of the show/herself being Canadian plays into the nomination at the Emmy. Or perhaps its just the genre of the show, but I still don't get it.

My favourite scenes are when TM plays a clone imitating another clone. I love how even then you can distinguish who she's suppose to be, and those scenes are always hilarious.

I also love Alison and Donnie! And Alison and Felix also! Alison is just hilarious with everyone she's on screen with.

Yeah, she's one hell of an actress. My friend and I believe the only reason she got snubbed is because Orphan Black is a sci-fi show, which is BS. The Emmy's should award television shows, as they say, and not just certain genres.

Not sure if you watch Penny Dreadful, but the same friend now said Eva Green is the best actress on TV, when she used to think it was TM. Green is amazing, but I still gotta give the nod to TM.

As you said, she imitates clones so well, and the scenes are hilarious. Alison is so damn funny with everyone she has screen-time with. I think that makes her my favorite character, slightly over the others.

On another note, I think Skylar Wexler is going to be something special when she grows up.
