Was Faith ready to die to stop Angelus? She seemed to accept that she was dying during the shared coma.

I'm not sure she went into it with the "Well, if I have to die to stop him then I die" feeling, but once she realizes she is stuck in there she's willing to accept it.

I think she would absolutely rather die to bring in Angelus than give into the darkness as Wes suggest to do it. I think it’s one of those full circle moments, it became clear to Buffy and the audience that Faith was “evil” when she intentionally tried to unleash Angelus now she’s willing to die to prevent it.

Yeah Faith was afraid that if she gave into her dark side she might not be able to stop herself from killing Angelus but at the same time she's not strong enough to capture Angelus while being cautious about it, so that was a problem. It's very nice for Faith that she found the passive solution of poisoning herself because it showed that she didn't have to give into her dark side to defeat him.
I've seen some people dislike the idea of Faith wanting to die for Angel but I think since Faith is a slayer it can never truly only be about Angel because there's a significance to Faith finally sacrificing for the greater good and living up to her birthright even if for Faith herself it's just about Angel.

I have mixed feelings. I love that it’s clear where she morally stands but I truly want to see her move past the mindset that her life is worth less than others. At this point I’m ready to see a strong sense of self worth.

And serving as part of her redemption arc. Gah! I wish we'd had more of Faith either on AtS or on BTVS.
