I think it's more likely to go to Leo or Jaime as they both won for Acting in the Golden Globes.

I like how the GG splits up Dramas and Comedies.

Lol, that title sounds so much better in Swedish. (I wish "Fyra nyanser av brunt" had been nominated instead though, it won the best picture award in Sweden yesterday.)

I just realized I've only seen three nominated movies.. I've got to do something about that immediately.
 
I think Kate Winslet deserves an oscar - she's a superb acress and she's been nominated so many times in the past and not won (Sense and sensibilty, Titanic and Iris to name a few)

I thought she was great in eternal sunshine.

Bah on the lot. What's so incredibly retarded about the academy is that they are always playing catchup. I've seen Johnny Depp in finding neverland and although he puts through a solid performance there are loads other performances over the years that should have guranteed him an oscar nod and win. Last year despite the role of captain Jack being an unconventional one he honestly should have won because the movie itself was pretty much...crap and without Johnny Depp in that role choosing to portray the character in this unique way the movie would have completely failed but he alone saved the movie and that is worth ten oscars but last year the academy had to play catch up with Sean Penn so Johnny Depp got screwed so now this year they're screwing others.

Why wasn't Eternal Sunshine nominated for anything sans supporting actress? The movie was moving and beautiful and deserves praise.
Natalie Portman should have been nominated for Garden State and not Closer. The Animated nod's are a joke.

Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow should have been nominated for something to do with design or art or visuals or costume design as the movie was simply gorgeous to watch.

I think the academy could have really been bold this year and nominated some good work that isn't typically considered. The Incredibles was a contender and Spiderman 2 and most importantly Eternal Sunshine

Bah on the lot of the academy gits. 😕
 
I haven't seen any of them, w/ the exception of some of the "lesser" nominees. I can't believe they'd even put crap like Shrek 2 or Shark Tale in the nominations for best animated feature. That's bunk.

If, by some vulgar miracle The Incredibles didn't win I'd up and assassinate a few key academy members... Bah!

I'm a fan of Brad Bird, in case it wasn't frighteningly obvious.

Oh no! I stay up all night, even though it starts like 3 in the morning (here) and is done around 8, hehe 😀 (Yes I'm obsessed and I'm usually quite tired in school next day..)
