Other Slayers and their Deaths

So I started thinking. Only 2 Slayers do we see in the series outside of the present day (excluding Kendra and Faith) and those are the 2 that Spike killed. Do you think that all of the Slayers before buffy were killed by vampires or did something else do in the slayers? For instance after season 3 Buffy does a lot more fighting of demons and other evil things and not so much of vampires. For instance season 5 she was killed by a portal opening that was caused by a God. Do you think the other slayers before here had to fight other things such as Gods, or other demons such as the one that comes out of the hell mouth?

Even though the primary duty of the Slayer is to slay vampires, hense the title "Vampire Slayer" rather than "Demon Slayer," it stands to reason that some of the girls met their ends at the hands, claws, tentacles, or what have you of something else. There's even a Slayer in, I believe, "Tales of the Slayers" who is killed by an angry mob of townsfolk. Considering how long that that there have been Slayers, and how hazardous that their calling is, I wouldn't be afraid to bet that, somewhere down the line, one or another of the girls has died just about every kind of death that you might imagine, with the exception being, of course, old age.

Even that one I wouldn't bet on.

What if Buffy isn't the only Slayer to have nearly died and another has been called BUT is the only Slayer to be known to do so.

We see different relationships of Watcher/Slayer that it isn't too great a stretch that if one found out that his Slayer's near death had called someone, he took her and hid her so she could have a normal life - Giles himself wished he could give Buffy a normal life.

I was going to write LOTS of fics YEARS ago😛

But yeah, thats why I wouldn't rule it out.
