"Other" TV Shows

Well I did a quick look through the site and couldn't find a thread like this (At least in the most recent 6 pages of the cemetary) so I decided to start one.

I'm curiuous to know what other (not Buffy and Angel) tv shows everyone likes. I'll start it off with the only other 2 shows I watch. Star Trek: TNG and CSI.

Star Trek: TNG because it not only about the mission, but also about the people involved.

CSI because it's just an amazing show and some of the things they do are just amazing.

So, what about everyone else???
 
I LOVED the dearly departed Friends, as it reminded me of my group 😀

I watch Star Trek: TNG and Voyager, but they don't touch me quite as much as other space dramas Farscape and Andromeda. For now, that's it-but a friend introduced me to Sex and The City this weekend and I watched the 1st ep-it wasn't bad. She lent me the DVD's for the 1st and 2nd season, so I guess we'll see if that strikes a chord with me 🙂

Yeah, I'm with ya. I thought it was a great show and I couldn't beleive that they cancelled it.
 
me? hm..I liked TNG and Deep Space 9...more for a character than....TNG but....

hm...can't think of anything else....but seems the shows i really like get all cancelled or ended. 🙁 I might remember more laters...but....
 
Even though I've never seen the tribe Just Annie, I know exactly where you're coming from. There's this Canadian show I watch called Trailer Park Boys, and no-one I talk to has ever heard of it. Every episode rocks my world. They do stuff you never expected to see on televison, plus the characters grow on you and become a part of your own personal little mythos. Also it's hilarious.

Here, here on Dark Angel Elmo and Beer Nut. The world is insane in the brain that doesn't recognize that was one of the best television series ever.

Oh and Faith's 5X5, hooray for you and me. We remember Wonderfalls. They just broadcast 3 episodes, right? We who have seen them, won't rest until we see the other 10. Go Jaye. Did you hear they're going to broadcast all 13 episodes in Argentina? That so sucks. Why Argentina? Why not Canada?
 
4 no? (so can't wait till see the others....got money stashed...well..for that and the Placebo thing at the end of the year) oh well. either way, one more, and you would have seen one really addicted Wonderfalls fan. just so my type of show
like Ushi. I can so not believe i forgot that....man..I mean..its Ushi...allycat might know what I'm talking bout...dunno if he thinks its funny, but I find it hilarious. i mean...it might be me too...
I think i've seen the tribe. neat makeup. no adults?...nice hair colors....yea...bbc or something?...it was ok...I got real confused tho. which is partly me, and who was bout at the time i caught the few eps.
 
Hang on I have all thirteen scripts on disc. I'll check and see if I've seen number 4...

Oh, OK, you're right. Number 4 is the one where the pink flamingoes tell her to get off her ass, and she runs her father down. Remember "Lesbian Porn"? ::rolf::

So that's good. It means I only have to find 9.
 
yea..i do..and...lol...all the stuff with her sis was funny....the wife..the first ep...the porn..that...wow...i laughed...and whole fam was there..cuz...i like to get them all addicted with me. 😀 its a family thing. I just don't ever let them on the computer. 😉 I plan this stuff. get them addicted too, they buy the stuff. great plan really.
gluck with the finding....i gotta wait till they come out on dvd or something.....
i didn't like it as much as i liked green acres but petticoat junction's pretty cool..oh
how could i have forgotten I Love Lucy? i mean..really. lucy. hehe...funny lady.
can you tell i watch a lot of tv land?

I'm with ya on this one too. I saw 2 of the episodes that were broadcast and I really enjoyed them. After Dark Angel though I try not to get too involved with new series, since far too often the good ones end in a disappointing cancellation. Like Wonderfalls.

You've just heard of someone... me. I watch it all the time on showcase. It's a great show.

And..does anyone remember a little show called The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr? That used to be one of my favorite shows...

Ooh, I love Nip/Tuck! I'm so glad it's back. You can't go wrong with watching people cut up other people's faces ... okay, that sounded psychotic, I know. 😛

Other favorite shows include(d): Wonderfalls, Reno 911, Alias, etc, etc ...
 
CSI (any flavour...) speaks to the science geek in me.
Law and Order (any flavour, except for the twitchy guy in Criminal Intent) 'cause I like to see the bad guys getting their just desserts.
