Our school is the first, yay.

Okay, you may not find this interesting, but I think it's pretty cool. The top twenty kids in ICT at my year in school got chance to take part in a lesson on Second Life, and now we're all famous, yay. 😀 We're gonna be on BBC news and BBC radio 1. We're already on the website, and I thought some (or none. 😉) of you may find this interesting:

Sure, not many of you will be interested, but I thought some of you might find it cool. 🙂 The girl talking a lot is Laura, who is one of my best friends. 😉 You only see me twice, but one time is with my awesome 3D glasses 😀

Oh how cool, your school has Macs ^^
I wish they had done something like that in our school. I had no issues with paying attention in biology, because it's interesting, but there were loads of kids especially in the first years when it was still mandatory who were just chatting and doing other stuff and that's annoying. I think it's a good way to keep people interested. Do you like it more like this?

Oh yeah, I just realised that I didn't mention what it was the first of. :lol: We're the first school in the country to ever do this, hense the title. 😉
Yeah, I really did actually, it was easier to concentrate, 'cause there wasn't a tonne of people talking, everyone was so engrossed, because it was so much more interesting.

So only the top 20 students got the chance to do it? Well, that explains the silence, then. If it's only the smart kids who pay attention at school anyway, of course it works.
But I remember when we did computer work at school, we chatted away like crazy. Well and on top of that there was of curse the random internet browsing.

Well, normally most of the kids in there are nutters. (Not literally, I'm the only crazy one. 😉). I think it was just because we were being watched by teachers and cameras. :lmao:

That looks so cool, if I was still at school and had lessons like that I'd be loving it. Its like The Sims but with set tasks and your actually learning at the same time. Maybe Im just a big nerd at heart but it looks so good.

OK, first of all - I guess you deserve congratulations.

The 3D Heart was pretty cool BUT doesn't anyone else find the idea doing lessons in 'Second Life' at school quite depressing a prospect for the future.

OK, I know I am a fatty myself, but if things carry on like this, that dystopian future for human kind in Wall-E doesn't seem as absurd as it did a day ago.
