okay so i guess that all the spuffy fans love the last part of this episode... spike's dream... he finally discovered that he loves buffy but when he woke up he couldnt believe in that. i really liked it 😉 so did you guys likeit too? are the spuffy fans happy about spikes dream? 😉

=O

Of course we liked it. We loved it. Didn't we?

It's great... unfortunately didn't really happen... I forgot (like I often do) that Spuffy didn't happen til season 6, and I thought it was real at first...

No.

I thought this piece of dialogue was interesting, though.

Riley: Buffy.
Buffy: No! No. Do you think that I spent the last year with you because you had super powers? If that's what I wanted, then I'd be dating Spike.

Oh. Why didn't you like it?

Agreeing, though, that was kind of... weird to hear... especially if you see season 6 before season 5...

Yeah, I didn't see Buffy in any order. I started from season 6 and jumped about.

I dislike that Spike discovers he has feelings for Buffy in a dream. I would have preferred some realisation when he is actually with her. Fighting with her. Instead of not being able to bite her because of the chip, not biting her because he realises he cares for her..or something. Something more than a dream. Dreams suck. They mean nothing.

Dreams suck. They mean nothing.

in buffy they do!

I read an interesting analysis witht the idea that because Spike and Buffy are shadow selves of eachother, then it is completley natural that revelations about eachother should happen through dreams, when the sub-concious is most free. I think its Jungian theory. there are plenty of atricles on this type of thing at in the Slayage journal.

I was like 'What are you doing Buffy?!!!" But then I was happy that Spike finally knew he loved her.
