Overrated
Joss Whedon,
i believe he is an intelligent man, he has created one awesome show with an awesome spin off(in my honest opinion) but he is just a man. He makes mistakes, he isnt flawless, i mean lets not forget, he didnt write, direct and produce every episode of Buffy and Angel. This God Like worship fans give him because of the shows does kind of detract from the hard work that everyone else puts in, i mean its all attributed to him, but would the shows have lasted as long had Greenwalt, Fury, Espensen or Noxon, amongst others, not contributed.
I do believe as the man at the top he does have a say in everything that goes on, and has some magnificent ideas, but its not just the ideas that make these shows great, its the smaller things that he doesnt plan, the dialogue of characters in certain places, the setting for a perfect scene, heck even the expressions of Actors at the right time, so yes give the man credit, but dont elevate him above anyone else, he is after all, just a man, a man with a funny funny lisp.

I watched this show, i laughed at this show often, but i laugh at the mail man, so what do i know eh?
Fact is this show is set in the center of one of the most culturally diverse cities on the planet, yet the cast is three men, three women, all straight and all white. In the entire ten year run, you could count the number of black, asian or european added to the number of Gay people, on one hand......its the same, to a lesser extent, of Sex and the City.

Poorly written tripe by a guy who really has overly fictionalized certain elements such as the Opus Dei, the worst thing being, the uninformed, or uneducated believe most of the nonsense this man spews forth.
