Oz is the sweetest thing.

So, everybody knows I'm a big Bangel shiper, but only because I don't talk so much about other ships, that doesn't mean I don't support some if them. So today I was watching Inca Mummy Girl, the episode where we meet Oz. I always liked Willow more with Oz, and today I came to conclusion - he is the sweetest thing. His buddy Devon is a big chick magnet - vocal in the band, and girls fall for that, he knows it and he takes adventage of it. But Oz, he is looking something special. And everytime boy say's he's looking for something special that means long legged blonde with deep blue eyes and brain that functions on the way he want's it. But Oz, he saw this girl, in the eskimo costume, and he was charmed. He saw that something in her, that something you have to look for to see. And he did. From the line "Who is that girl?" I knew Willow is going to get something special. And how many girls look for that? I think every girl in this world. Just some of them are too lazy or they are tired of waiting so they go for the frog who never turns out to be the prince.

Oz was great. Very funny and a great addiction to the cast. I was pretty bummed when he had to leave the show. I was a big Willow/Oz shipper until he had to go and cheat on her with that horrible Veruca. Poor Oz. He had such a hard time back then controlling the wolf inside of him. Good to know he's learned to control it now.

Well, Tillow is one of my all-time favorite ships, but I do really love Oz. I love his and Willow's relationship and I appreciate what he did for Willow. And I agree- he is the sweetest thing. I was watching the commentary on Innocence and the "Willow-kissage" conversation was very strategically placed there because at first, a lot of people didn't like Oz (according to Joss). So he put in a conversation to show how cool Oz was; how cool it was that he though Willow was cool, not in spite of her eskimo outfit, but because of it. The whole little scene there was designed to make both Willow and the audience fall in love with Oz.

I'm a big fan of Oz...(til season 4 anyway) and always liked him with Willow. He was her frist boyfriend and he's so sweet to her. I remember him seeing her in that sexy outfit in Halloween and he still doesn't know who she is but he likes what he sees.

And one of his best lines: " I mock you with my monkey pants."

I liked Oz, but I prefer Tara (I have a soft spot for girl/girl relationships.) Granted, Oz is an amazing character and really just seemed like such a nice guy. I remember the episode when Willow was all prepared to have sex with him, and he was just so sweet about it, saying how they can wait and it wasn't an issue to him. I just about swooned.

I was pretty upset about the whole Veruca thing. I understand that his wolf-y instincts found her attractive, but that entire ordeal it just pissed me off to no end. I suppose Oz made the right decision in the end to leave, maybe attempting to redeem himself a bit. But still. :/

Did anyone else love "New Moon Rising"? The fact Oz smelled Willow on Tara was amazing to me.

As some of you may or may not know, I completely adore Oz. To me, he is pretty much the perfect boyfriend, or possibly even the perfect man.
He has such a sweet, caring personality and has this quiet dry wit and humour. He treated Willow with respect, always had her best interest at heart (Tara) even if it hurt him and never pressured her into anything and even held her back when he thought she was rushing into things because she thought he might like that (hey, it's 6 am, I had about four hours of sleep, I don't have to make sense here!).
Of course, and I know that I contradict my earlier statement, he is not perfect. I think he's a little co-dependant (I don't remember which episode it was but the Scoobies were in the library, Willow left and he almost immediately followed, saying "As Willow goes, here goes my nation") and that he slept Veruca wasn't the smartest move and while it might be excusable that they both were acting on instincts while in wolf form (and I think Willow should (and would) have given him a second chance hadn't he left immediately), his attraction to her was very obvious in human form. If he had acted upon it we'll never know but I wish Green had decided to stay on the show longer because I would have loved for Oz to have an own storyline besides being Willow's boyfriend. His character has a lot of potential and it would've been great had that been fleshed out.

But I do love what they've done with him so far in S8. I like the fact that he has this quiet, peaceful live and home and found a new love. ("No, see, that's the dog.") I've had the impression that Willow was the love of his life and feared he might never quite get over her. I'm glad I was proven wrong. And I really hope they don't do something cruel to him 🙁

He's that kind of character (and Green also that kind of actor) that's always kind of stealing the frame without even having any lines.

I liked his character, I loved how he talked so little but said so much. I think he was essential to the Willow character, and I'm sad that he left.

I didn't ship Willow/Oz but I thought they were really cute together and was rooting for them to make it work. Seth Green was so good in the character delivering the funny lines with that dry wit that was so characteristic of Oz. I was disapointed when Willow and Oz broke up.

I loved Oz from the beginning as well. I wanted him to stick around when he didn't I was pretty upset. I know he cheated on Willow and everything but I am glad they at least got that final episode to end on a good note in my eyes. I miss him and when I watch I think he could have added a lot.

I also liked how he went on Angel in season one for that one episode and just kind of fit in there that what Oz was to me a great boyfriend but such a kind person at the same time. He had some good comedic scenes as well.

Honestly, this relationship makes me dream more than Buffy-Angel or say, Edward-Bella.
Oz was always so respectful to Willow, supportive, cute, affectionate, loving, caring, and most of all, he loved her for who she was, entirely.
It's just so beautiful!

I'm single and it's not really a big problem for me, but whenever I rewatch Buffy and sees Oz, I'm like "Awhn, I want my own bOZfriend!":X3:

That decision to leave worked out for him so i agree totally with your opinion. Do you think he left just to make sure he didn't lose out on a potential movie career? I've always thought it was that straight forward or was there another reason?

couldn't agree more. especially now that i've looked back on some episodes. he really is the best. and such a good contrast to everyone else, especially willow. one of my favourite scenes of all time is in Wild Hearts when him and willow are in bed together and he wakes her from a bad dream saying 'it's just a dream, wil. come back to me.'
it's moments like these that i wished i had a boyfriend...but then i remember why i dumped the last one lol damn these tv shows with their perfect guys giving us completely unrealistic views of men.
and then of course the scene in season 3 when willow is kidnapped by faith and everyone argues about what to do and oz just gets up, not saying a thing, and smashes that bowl into the wall. amazing.
but i agree with you, i totally get why seth left. they really didn't do a lot with his character. still, the show was great with him and i miss him everytime i watch it. oz ftw

oz was amazing. I loved him. he was such a nice boyfriend and i loved his when he said to willow that he wanted her to kiss him when SHE wanted it, and it was so cute when he smelled willow on tara.
he was a cutie. And I cried when he left her in Wild At Heart. (so did my brother even though he isn't a BtVS fan)

I really don't see your point. I don't think being a warewolf is something he can control. He got bitten, by accident. That doesn't make him bad, that makes him unlucky.

He did cheated Willow, but he sacraficed their relathionship for lives of God knows how many people.
