Oz or Tara

Tara forever. Oz was nice, but I really hate the whole thing with Veruca. 😵

There were both good for Willow in different ways, but I would say the stronger emotion connection overall was with Tara and I think the worked as a couple a bit more.

Tara, especially post-break up (I wish there was more time before Tara died - or that she didn't die) because it proved that Tara was her own person and capable of making a difference. Oz was good - and I loved his character, but I don't think it would have worked because they were too different. If they got back together later, maybe... it's hard to say. I think Willow was too naive when she was with Oz.

For me, Tara and Willow. In my opinion, that pairing was a trend setter/bold statement in the sense that, a lesbian couple's relationship could be a sweet, endearing and beautiful thing. Just like a hetero couple.
Honestly, the pairing was so good that once I got past the 'Oh two girls kissing and crap, I'm getting excited." (which happened very quickly), I wanted to see the two blossom together more than anyone else. (Anya and Xander's relationship is something I can Now laugh at and relate to)

Also, to me, Oz and Willow wasn't anything special. He's locked up a once/few times a night and they are a normal hetero couple. Willow and Tara seemed to connect very deeply and their joint magic practices gives them a even deeper understanding and connection.

Again, my opinion....plus I hate Oz's character, so there's that.

lol. You got excited very quickly? Or you got over it very quickly?
Wasn't thrilled with Willow & Kennedy. I liked Willow & Oz. Shoot I woulda even liked Willow & Xander. But I ♥ Willow & Tara! Just perfect!

Kennedy might've been bearable if she'd had duct tape over her mouth...at all times. She talked too much, and was impossibly overbearing. I simply DO NOT like her. Not one bit.

That's the thing sometimes people excuse that sort of character because they think she is outspoken and honest, but actually they are confusing rude, obnoxious and dull/empty for that. Faith is outspoken and honest, but in an interesting and sparky way. Cordelia is like that too, but Kennedy is just empty and dull.

Some people excuse it in other people as well!
I think the writers had the same intent when creating Oz and Tara - they both have a calming effect on Will, balancing her out, anchoring to reality so she won't get lost in her magic world.
They both see her faults and love her notwithstanding, were both specifically created as Willow's love interest, but while Oz can stand alone Tara hasn't have much in her.
Take away the Tillow romance and her being a good listener when various scoobies unload their problems, and what remains of Tara's character?
I really don't know who she is and what she likes.

if i was worshipping Entropy i'd vote for Willow/Spike - a couple which, I am sure, has a potential to cause mayhem and destruction -
free range Willow without her partner restricting her magic use and limiting her. I bet Spike and Will could do destructive things Dru never even dreamed of.

I mean, from here

things could have developed differently ^^

I like your thinking!
Willow/Tara is just "the" Buffy ship for me nowadays, even more than ships actually involving Buffy herself. Whenever I think of the show, I think of the purest display of love ever seen on it and, for me, that is Willow and Tara.

Part of it is also just the fact I think there was more to Tara's character than Oz's. I don't mind Oz, and I love Seth Green, but Tara is my darling.

Yes, she's a beautiful soul.
I think that Tara was a much better fit for Willow than Oz, not that Oz wasn't good...
