Oz questions (Werewolf residue and others)

It's come up, I do recall, a couple times things like this happen, but once when he's driving with Cordy, trying to find Willow he's in the car and says
"It's Willow. She's nearby" Cordy: "What? You can smell her? She doesn't even wear perfume" Oz: "She's afraid" Cordy: "OMG, is this some sort of residual werewolf thing? This is very disturbing" Oz: "I agree"
This pops up once or twice...
Can someone please explain werewolf residue to me? Is it common for werewolves to have in human form, residue of scent and whatnot?


Another question about oz:
Jordy, Oz's cousin, apparently bites him in human form... this is according to wikipedia, and im still confused about that...
help ,please? 😀
 
Not sure about the smell thing..i was always confused about the jordy bite too cause he bit him in human form..so that should mean oz can change someone with just a simple bite
 
He could smell good in human form..he was bit by a werewolf in human form..so that is messed up..good thing he never did scratch anyone lol
 
Well was it ever confirmed that you could become a werewolf if you were scratched in the Buffyverse? Maybe it can only happen through a bite.
 
^ Unless I'm very much messing things up in my memory, Oz did scratch Willow on screen in "Fear, Itself", and she never became a werewolf... so it's got to be only the spittle from the bite that carries the lyke infection in the Jossverse.
