Pager Messages

Eh, do you mean pager messages now? If yes; then I guess pager messages are sort of like instant messeges, on the boards. Yes?
 
Yippee...finally I can answer a question here, I actually know the answer to.

Yeah, in the top right hand corner of a person's post with all the icon's you'll see a new icon of 2 little cartoon balloon's or something. Click it and you can send an instant message to the person who posted.

It's different from the old pager system in that it isn't a popup. It's embedded into the page. If you want to get rid of it without replying just click the X.
 
how can you send the messages though? mine just gives me a page listing who is online on the boards and, if the person i want to send to happens to be one of them, i can check their box for send, but then my only options are 'reload page' and page users'. it looks like this:

you have to click the little icon in the slayer stats of the person you want to page...another window will pop up and you type your message and click send.
 
i do click on the little icon (though its above and not in the 'slayer stats') and it says, for you for instance 'send pager message to lyri' and then i click and thats what comes up. the only clickable thing actually in the 'slayer stats' is ones skin selection.
 
when i click your icon (sorry i really did think it was in the stats) it shows me who's online, then it switches straight to a balnck message that lets me type and send it to you...aren't you seeing that?
 
The box that pops up tells you who is currently online who can receive pager messages. If it's someone online that you want to page, you click the box after their name and then click on the "Page User" button.

This box is usally immediately shadowed by the pager screen with the users name that you wanted to page (which is why you clicked that person's speech bubbles). If you want to view who's online, exit out of that screen and the pager screen detailing who's online will show.
 
i tried that for you. i checked next to your name, but when i clicked 'page user' nothing happened at all
 
I tried to page you, but you didn't send me anything back.

Try going into your control panel, click options and double check to make sure you have the pager option selected. Maybe unselect it and then select it again, and then save changes at the bottom of the page. That's the only option I have until someone more pager savvy can help you out! 🙂
 
yea, it works! 😀 thanks for all your help! i figured out the problem...its my stupid internet! but it works on this other thing so i can always use that now if i want to page someone, and at least now i know the problem!
