Pager Troubles!

Yeah, I just replied. This one uses AJAX instead of Java, so that's why your popup blocker didn't block it.

Moot point now, but you could have just turned the pager off in your options lol
 
I thought of that, but didn't someone say they tried the options thing, and it didn't work.

I like that new little one better. It's more aesthetic.

Except for it not having a reply button when you get a Pager, I like it better too.

You're not kidding 🙂 It says I have 2 unread messages on the BB home page and yet when I click on the pager link it says that there are no messages to display...am I missing something vital here? (before anyone else says it...probably a brain 😉)

Edit - I have now tried sending a page with no success. I clicked on the VB pager option in the Options drop down menu, which opened a pop-up window displaying which members were online. I then ticked the box next to the member I wanted to page and clicked "Page user" and nothing happened.
It may be a problem with our work system (there are lots of things it doesn't allow) so I'll try again at home.
 
I'm at home and getting much the same thing...I paged Pointy twice in the last day or so, and in my sent items it shows the pages and that they haven't been received yet...maybe Mr. P can check to see if they are there when he gets online tomorrow.

I didn't get online at home yesterday but I should be able to check it tonight. I'll post to say how I got on...
 
KD, and me were talking on the pager system last night, but we were both on the board at the same time. Point being, it does work when you're both at the same web address at least.

I concur, that seems right!
Well you really should only be using it if you're both on the boards - otherwise use pm's.

It might have something to do with the fact that messages are deleted once an hour - it's only supposed to be deleting read messages, but maybe it's not.
 
I finally got those pages KD sent, now I've logged on at home. It must be my work PC that can't use it.

It has a reply button when both parties are on the boards together. It did when I used it anyway.
