Just a couple updates. I've been playing with color lately so they're both the same, but different. I also have some wallpapers that I'll post after the banner competition is over since they're similar to my submission:

Ooooh I love both versions of that banner! The first one is better, for me, though just because you changed the color up. Too often we see people sticking with the golden tones of that scene. I always love it when people change the coloring up.

the spillyria one.. the sparkles.. very interesting.. the left side i had to put my face right up to monitor to see.. what is the background? the sparkly bit? was it sparkly or did you just hit it with a dodge/burn tool?

It was a texture. Most of my textures are "soft light". Depending on the texture, they might also have a lower opacity.

I'm glad you guys like them.

It actually worked well.. I had to lighten it a bit.. but my icons stop where she starts.

and that michigan comment was a compliment.. i have fond memories of 'that road' which i forget what it is now!!
