First of all i want to excuse myself if this thread doesn't fit in this forum, bt I am really intersted.

Often you saw on season 5 how Tara or Willow made pencakes for Dawn for breakfast! I think once I saw that they use a finished dough, but my question is still, does anybody know a reall jummy recipe for pencakes how tara could had used to make some?

I want to make some for my breakfast but they are not so good! But everytime I do some I have to think about Tara and Dawn. Does anybody has something this way ? Doing something and everytime you have to think about a special person or thing about BTVS or Angel?

You can see Tara cooking pencakes in "Wrecked" season 6 just for the ones who want to check my allegation! ;D

My only advice: don't scramble them. Scrambled pancakes, which you make while hiking and camping, are nasty, in my opinion. There's no brown part on it, just sort of half-cooked, mushy, and wet dough. Blech!

Ok thanks, sounds as if you have made some bad experiences with this! ;D What do you use for the dough?

I usually just make them with the boxed pancake mix and add water, hehe. 😀

But I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed Tara making pancakes for Dawn all the time. If you want it to be more like hers, make it into "funny shapes". Tara always asked Dawn is she wanted round or funny shapes, but they usually came out as funny shapes anyways. 🙂

ah jeah her " funny shapes"! That always made me laugh!
My favourite not-my-secret-recipe pancakes are ones my mother-in-law makes.

Mama's pfannkuchen!

218g mehl
30g zucker
2TL backpulver
prise Salz

Mixen.

1 ei
355ml milch
45g Geschmolzene butter

Mixen.

Kochen!

(That is exactly what the recipe card says...I'm sure Oma's card is a little more detailed.)

Basically mix together the dry stuff, then add the wet stuff and mix together, then cook in a normal breakfast pan by the spoonful.

I hope you find the perfect recipe!

(You can add vanilla or cinnamon if you want to punch pancakes up! Makes them amazing.)

None, I'm sorry. English is my first language, and my German is not very good (Mein Deutsch ist schlecht!) but my mother-in-law is German and the recipe was made by her and her mother.

I saw that you are from Germany and thought that I did not need to translate it or adjust for American cooking (because American's usually don't have kitchen scales [Küchenwaage]).

I am, however, working on my German, so perhaps I will one day be great at it.

Du bist bereits sehr gut! ([you're allready very good at it!]) When I saw the joke with the kitchen scale I had to laugh! Do you talk much German in your family? What do you think is Germany much different from your country?
