So what did you guys think of this episode? We saw the return of Angel and him helping Buffy without her actually knowing, we had Native Americans and a thanksgiving dinner.

I loved this episode, it definatly seemed like old times. I loved seeing Angel agian and all of the scoobies reactions to him(Willow and Xander thinking he was evil) and loved all of Anyas comments towards Angel. It was nice to see that Xander does not have that big of a grudge towards Angel anymore and he was so funny while he was sick. One of the best scenes for me was seeing them rideing on the bikes(I could just imagine them doing that in highschool). Buffy wanting a perfect Thanksgiving was good and we saw how the scoobies became more of a family.

I also loved the ending with Xander acceidently blurting out Angel was there and then seeing the shot of Xander and co. all looking at Buffy.

I loved Spike in this episode. I thought he was really funny...'You made a bear....undo it undo it.' I hadn't realised that Anya had never seen Angel before, until this episode and Angel looked so cute when he was questioning Willow about Riley. This is one of my favourite episodes of season 4.

Jane Espenson did a great job writing "Pangs." I really enjoyed it and I love watching Spike during S4! I was sad near the end when Angel looks back at Buffy to see if she's okay and wants so much to see her face-to-face again, yet knowing he can't...

The Scoobies coming to rescue Buffy on bikes was really funny!

I really liked this episode. It had a good feeling of family. I liked Angel's return, and how he wanted to really see Buffy, but knew he couldn't. It also had IMO some of the funniest moments from season 4.

I love Spike in this episode!

He's really funny.

"I can't take all this mamby-pamby boo-hooing about the bloody Indians. You came in, took their land. That's what conquering nations do!"

and the bear! excellent.

In Dopplegangland Anya helped send Vampire Willow back, and I think Angel was there. Plus they were both at The Prom. Sure they didn't talk to each other or anything but they had seen each other.

Anyway, it was a good episode. I loved Xander's line "Can we talk about me and my new syphilis?"

I have only watch Pangs once, and the time I watched it I thought nothing much of it (comes down to me being half asleep) LOL. I should give it another full watch through, as I only saw parts of this when it was shown on Sky One recently.

I loved that episode, Angel questioning riley was soo cute and sad and at the end was sad too! Spike was real funny (as always) and I loved Buffys obsession with the dinner and then they all sat down together and ate. so beautiful, of the good 'ol times!

One of many funny lines in this ep. I also loved it when he wants to kill the evil spirit and Willow tells him there are two sides to it and he responds with "Slaying him? The representative from syphilis votes yea." Others I loved were:

Willow:Maybe we should be helping him.
Giles:No, perhaps we won't help the angry spirit with it's rape, pillage, and murder.

Giles:That's why I think we should keep a level head in this.
Willow:And I happen to think mine is the level head and yours is the one things would roll off of.

"Pangs" and "Something Blue" were my two favorite eps of the season because of the humor.

I love that quote too

This eppy was a good one, Angel's first guest appearance, Scooby gang racing to the rescue on bikes.

My fav quote is this one:

Spike : Oh, someone put a stake in me.

Xander : You got a lot of volunteers in here.

Spike : I just can't take all this mamby-pamby boo-hooing about the bloody indians.

Buffy : Uh, the preferred term--

Spike : You won. All right? You came in and you killed them and you took their land. That's what conquering nations do. It's what caesar did, and he's not going around saying, "I came, I conquered, I felt really bad about it." The history of the world isn't people making friends. You had better weapons, and you massacred them. End of story.

Buffy : Well, I think the spaniards actually did a lot of-- Not that I don't like spaniards.

Spike : Listen to you. How you gonna fight anyone with that attitude?

Willow : We don't wanna fight anyone.

Buffy : I just wanna have thanksgiving.

Spike : Heh heh. Yeah...Good luck.

Willow : If we could talk to him--

Spike : You exterminated his race. What could you possibly say that would make him feel better? It's kill or be killed here. Take your bloody pick.

Xander : Maybe it's the syphilis talking, but... Some of that made sense.

Giles : I made these points earlier, but fine, no one listens to me.

Buffy : Fine, ok? But someone still has to go warn the dean.

Willow : I'll go. I need the air.

Buffy : Not alone.

Anya : I'll go.

Xander : Me, too.

Buffy : Sure you're up to it?

Spike : Oh, leave that one. He looks like he's ready to drop any minute, and I think I can eat someone if he's already dead.

Xander : (Getting up.) I'm up to it.

One of the many episodes I like in S4. Of course I was happy that Angel returned. I thought it was a cool touch when Angel put his hand over Willow's mouth to make sure she didn't sream to know he was there. Willow's first thought was that he was evil again. That really didn't come out the way I wanted it too but you get the idea hopefully.

Spike was funny. With the bear and all. I also like his face at the end when Xander spilled the beans over that Angel was in town.

I was kinda hoping that Angel and Buffy would accidently run into each other during the fight but it didn't happened. I actually think it was best they didn't see each other. There would of been "Oh, I'm cursed and I can't be around you cuz it hurts. I want to love you but I can't." crap. After so many times that can get really really annoying.

I agree. The sideways smirk on his face when Xander slipped was pretty classic!! :hihi: I actually didn't catch it until the second viewing, it was such a quick shot!
