However, my town just hit a record low, the lowest since like 1936.

I take it Anyanka Bunny Slayer doesn't live in Florida as over a footy pitch a day goes underwater. The country the Maldives will be underwater within a decade. Kiribati is almost submerged now. 30% of all coral reefs around Palau have died. But on the bright side only 155 islands in the Seychelles are underwater.
So if you know folk who are travelling abroad you ought to suggest to check if the sea has risen on the islands.

We got a bit of snow last night, an inch perhaps. I'm in a valley so usually it goes everywhere but here. I expect many kids will be off school today, even though the schools are open.

I love sub zero temperatures, but at the luxury of being able to afford heat, and I'm fairly healthy so less chance of death. I couldn't live anywhere else for fear it being too warm. My body doesn't react well to heat, I start becoming faint. My Scottish constitution needs to be around freezing or under. One of the reasons I wouldn't visit California or Australia. Sorry @HoppyHippy and @Anyanka Bunny Slayer 😛

All this bad weather, shame that Australia had its hottest January since 1913.
If Climate Change does not exist how come it keeps breaking all records?

And yet Queensland is having record breaking floods over 700 kilometres of coast this month.
