Kristin Saunders

Played by Carol

Kristin Saunders, 20, is the only child of the parents, Jeremy and Emily Saunders. They lived in New Englad. There, Kristin was always seeing strange things happening around New England. She was interseted in ghosts, witches, and everything that was strange.

When Kristin was eleven and a half, she was wandering through the woods which was the backyard of her house. She heard a strange sound and the curiousity got the best of her so she went to explore the sound in the woods. A short while later, she found a cave with an opening and decided to take a look. So, she entered the cave. The cave were completely dark, no light in the cave. Suddenly, something was attacking Kristin and bited her arm and Kristin tried to push away the something that was attacking her. Kristin somehow escaped the cave to her hosue. Her parents immediately took her to the nearest hospital. Doctors treated her and fixed her arm and said that Kristin was lucky that she didn't get any infections from whatever it was.

It wasn't until a month later on a full moon that Kristin had an idea what animal attacked her that night. At just the sight of the full moon appearing in the sky, Kristin suddenly started to howl and went through a very painful transformation into a werewolf. She went in search for food in the woods, preferably something human. Lucky for the werewolf inside Kristin, there were people who were camping out in the woods. Those people were brutally killed and Kristin went to roaming in the woods. It wasn't til the dawn that Kristin woke up somewhere in the woods, naked that Kristin realized what she just had done that last night.

Kristin was horrifed and didn't know what to do. She didn't want to tell her parents about her werewolf transformations, nor her friends as she knew that they wouldn't believe her and probabbly would send her to a psychologist. So, after that day, Kristin kept things to herself and became a loner, not participating in school activites. Her family and friends wondered what happened to Kristin as she was always outgoing and participated in school activites and was happy. So, they always tried to get her to do something. But, Kristin refused to let anybody to be near to her, fearing that she could hurt them.

When she graduated from high school, Kristin decided to go to college in California, across the country and majoring in psychology. After she moved to Northern Califronia, she found that Northern California had weird occurances happening all the time. So, she decided to investiage those occurances and see if she can explain something about those occurances. It wasn't until she was 19 that she met a guy who were trying to bite a child, Kristin looked around for something to stop the guy and she saw a wooden stake nearby. Kristin decided to just grab the stake and stab it into his back so she did that. She didn't think that the guy was going to be into a pile of ashes when she stabbed him. Kristin stared down at the pile of ashes that was on the ground, not believing what she just saw. The child had ran away, crying and wanting to be with his mother.

Kristin knew that something was going on in Northern California, she just didn't know what exactly it was. But, she now keeps a wooden stake in her purse, just in case she ever needs it. Kristin began to read magic and myth books, thinking they may be of help to expalin the occurances that is going on in Northern California.

Melinda Winters

Played by Setterwind

Melinda Winters was born unto her father Hank Rodgers and was named after her mother, Linda Winters, who died due to complications during childbirth. Thus, Melinda grew up with her father as an only child in Yuma, Arizona. Because of which, Melinda didn't really have the most superb family life. Her father, filled with grief over his wife's death, was extremely out of touch with his daughter's life and often blamed her for the death of his wife.

Melinda is a shy, soft-spoken girl who often lets people walk all over her and almost never stands up for herself. She gained a reputation as a nerd at her high school because of her high intelligence and because she was a whiz with computers. She was an excellent student who was known for her tutoring abilities and her extremely high grades. But none of it satisfied her.

Melinda wanted something more out of life. She had barely any friends and her father spent much of his time out drinking or hanging out at a local strip club with "some of the boys." She often felt as if she was pounding on the walls of life, screaming for something. She didn't know what she was screaming for but she knew that it was something else. Something that would make life better, more interesting. And she didn't know what it was until the little magick shop on the corner opened.

Melinda was walking home from school when she first passed the shop. Intrigued, she went inside where she was met by a young woman who appeared to be the shopkeeper. The woman, who was a talented witch, told Melinda that she had much power. All of it untapped of course, but if she could learn to control and shape it, she would have incredible talent for the Craft. Melinda was surprised to hear this and it was her surprise that allowed her to ladened down with books and supplies. Melinda left the store with her purse considerably emptied of her money and her arms full of things that she never knew existed.

As soon as she got home, Melinda quickly began studying some of the beginner books that the shopkeeper had suggested for her. In just a short while, Melinda was hooked. She begin to set up her altar, catologue her supplies, and figure out what else she would need. Within in a few weeks, Melinda was learning how to levitate feathers and turn ice into fire ("Which I will never, by the way, do on my bedspread again.")

A few weeks before graduation, her father stumbled into her room while Melinda was in the middle of a spell. The room was filled with lit candles and smelled of a dozen scents of incense. Throw in the fact that Melinda was glowly softly and that there was archaic energy flowing about the room and you had one odd scene. Her father quickly begin thrashing about the room, knocking over supplies and candles until the spell was cancelled. Melinda, in a rage, used her powers for the offensive for the first time. Without touching him, she shoved him out the room and slammed the door. He began pounding on the door, calling Melinda unholy, evil, and it was her unholiness that killed her mother. Weeping, Melinda fell to the floor, unsure of what she should do.

Melinda cast just one last spell before graduation. She altered her father's memory, causing him to forget about that unfateful night. Then as soon as graduation rolled around and Melinda had successfully finished high school as validictorian, she left. She emptied out her college account, packed up her supplies and some clothes into a trunk, and headed west.

Melinda ended up in California. She made money by doing whatever odd jobs she could find. She ended up passing through the San Fransisco bay area when she began hearing stranger rumours. Strange things that went bump in the night, missing people, and odd occurences. Now 18, Melinda was finally somewhere where she could help...

Gunther 'Greg' Koresgard

Played by Archmage48

Born in Munich Germany in 1459 to a powerful merchant family, Greg was originally raised to take over his father's business. His father worked as a middle man for Venitian merchants and countries north and west of Germany. It was a very lucrative business, and his family was very wealthy, and used their money in order to influence events in the area. Greg recieved a very good education for the time, learning math, philosephy, and art. Also taught to speak English, French, and Italian in order to deal with merchants from other lands. He was a studious individual, but was also considered quite attractive, and he caught the eye of a very attractive woman in 1477, when he was 18 years old. This woman, who called herself Luna, never revealed her dark secret to him as they were seeing each other for nearly two years, until in 1479, she seduced him fully, leaving his body in his bed. Buried with all the flair one would expect from someone of his station, he rose the next night, and Luna was there to greet him.

Considered dead by his parents, he still managed to steal a good deal of money, rare artifacts, and the like, and him and Luna made their way out of Munich. Together, for the next 200 years, the 2 of them terrorized Europe, traveling all thoughout the continent. In 1677 they traveled to England, where they similarly terrorized the country until 1797, when to Greg's anger, Luna was hunted down and killed by a gang of vampire hunters led by Holtz. Kept on the run by Holtz until Angelus and Darla were able to finally finish his search, he breathed a sigh of relief when Holtz was no longer on his tail. Returning to the continent in 1807, Greg wandered alone for nearly 30 years on the continent, until he finally left, traveling to Istanbul, his first trip outside of Europe. Staying in Istanbul for only 5 years, Greg left Istanbul in 1842, and traveled all throughout Asia for nearly 60 years, learning martial arts that he had never studied before, and becoming a more powerful fighter then ever. Finally leaving the Far East in 1900, he traveled to South America, where he traveled around for nearly 50 years, primarily to avoid the World Wars that were occuring at the time. It was on a trip through Bolivia in 1950 that he made a big mistake. While traveling through a small village, he murdered an entire family. The villages Shaman concocted a strange punishment in response, putting a spell on Greg which restored a semblance of a soul to him, not a complete one, but a soul nevertheless.

Feeling horrible over the 500 years of murder and mayhem he had perpatrated, he left South America in 1953, moving to Mexico, where he stayed and brooded for almost 30 years, trying to come to terms with his past. One night, in Mexico City, he was traveling, drunk, down a alleyway, when he was visited by a repersenative of the PTB. The man, who never gave a name, tried to get Greg to join the side of good, Greg initially wanted nothing to do with it, too afraid to come into contact with anyone. But then, the man taught him how to thrive in the real world, to get strong again. Leaving Mexico in 1988, he traveled to the United States, and came to Los Angeles in 1989. He did what he could to help, saving people under attack from vampires and demons, but never going out of his way to communicate with those he saved. Feeling the need to go somewhere else, he left Los Angeles in 1996, going to San Francisco, where he currently lives.

Over 500 years old, he is one of the worlds most powerful vampires. Highly educated, as he kept up on current developments as he went through the years, there is very little that can shock him. He speaks numorous langauges, both human and demonic. While he does help the side of good, the brooding nature he has makes communicating with him generally short, as he tends to do what he needs to do, then leaves. It will take a extordinary individual to get him to really open up and share.
