That would thrill Andrew, since his favorite James Bond, Timothy Dalton, is one of the stars. It sounds more than a little bit like "The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen" to me, and since I am one of the half dozen people in the country who actually liked that movie, I'm looking forward to it.

(Do you think that it's coincidence, or actual intent that, like the "League," this series contains a former 007 in its cast)
 
sounds interesting. ill probably check it out. its got timothy dalton and billie piper.
 
Not my usual show but it was shot in Dublin so I'll probably watch the first episode for the novelty of it.
 
I half expected to see some of the show, but I didn't so if it is similar to the league I can't say.
A lot will depend on the ability of the actors. I liked the character Dorian Grey, but Ben Barnes portrayal of Dorian left a lot to be desired. Whereas Stuart Townsends portrayal of him was much better, although I am a bit biased as one of my favourite films is Queen of the Damned, Stuart Townsends Lestat was good.
Anyway I'll just have to wait and see what it is like.
 
Just watched the premiere. I thought it was different, but I definitely enjoyed it, especially the ending. What are your guys thoughts?

Also, I know there isn't much to go by yet, but do you have an early favorite character? I like Ethan Chandler so far.
 
I'm looking forward to watching it. Looks fun and I generally enjoy stuff by the Showtime network. However, I live in New Zealand where we don't get anything until it's been a hit somewhere else, so I'll have to "acquire" it in other ways.
Stupid, budget, small country tv networks (we have 2 & they both seem to be broke).

So, has anyone been keeping up on the show?

I think it's pretty good so far, some more action scenes and jump-scares would be nice. It's not exactly what I expected, but it's not bad. Two more episodes to go, hopefully they make the penultimate and finales awesome.
 
Looking forward to the season finale, it looks great. Awesome performances in the last episode by Eva Green and Josh Hartnett as well.
 
Yes, I didnt know I was going to like it but yes enjoy .. i cant wait i dvr it. the one I like but having a hard time getting through it would be salem the tv show its good but not maybe it can get better i dont know. have you seen it
 
Just watched the finale...it was great. It got better as it went along IMO. I have high hopes for season 2 as well. S2 usually trumps S1, just a pattern I noticed. Buffy, Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, Alias, etc. Of course, that's all opinion, but I think S2 has more to go on in terms of characterization, twists, and storyline arcs.

you know me well for some reason, for than one person has told me that I would love the shows and would non-stop watch it .. i dont know why I havent seen it. I have netflix and I can get the DVDs if I wanted it. I just never have I guess I need a push
