So everyone knows that before a charcter becomes a charcter they need to audition for the role before getting it. Does anyone know if any semi famous people were offered to play or auditioned to play as anybody in the Buffyverse but did not get the part . An example of this is that I just found out Ryan Renolds was offered the role as Xander.

I am glad we had Charisma, I love her chemistry with Angel in 'ATS' and I think she is perfect as Cordy.

In the Unaired Pilot, some girl named Riff Regan was playing Willow, and may I just say, she was HORRIBLE. She had no chemistry with Xander at all (and I don't mean romantic chemistry, either) and didn't seem like she could act her way out of a paper bag. Thank God for Allyson!

Yes I have the unaired pilot and feel the same way. She was not good for the role.

Didn't Katie Holmes and Selma Blair also audition for buffy?
