Soda giant Pepsi has just announced their latest product, ‘Pepsi 1893’, made especially for hipsters.


Catered to source-conscious consumers, the craft beverage contains kola nut extract, certified fair trade sugar, and sparkling water.

It is packaged in black and gold 8 oz. cans, and and marketed like a fine liquor. Perhaps hipsters can enjoy this soda in their mason jars, which would probably make a great Instagram photo, too.

Sure does look like a "trendy" cola, targeting those who don't drink alcohol possibly (?) and probably charging like double the price. The hipsters will love it! Especially the straight edge hips.

I am not sure about Pepsi, but early Coca-Cola had cocaine as an ingredient. Some soft drinks are drugs.

They absolutely are addictive in their own way I think.

I prefer Pepsi to Coca-Cola, but I don't drink them all that often. That Pepsi 1893 looks like it belongs in a trendy bar.
