Perfect Happiness?

Something occured to me when I was reading a post by elmo in the Angel/Cordy thread. Elmo mentioned that some bangel fans thought that Angel would only lose his soul and reach true happiness if he were to make love with Buffy.

Personally, I don't think Angel will ever have true happiness again....whether he makes love too Buffy, Cordelia or someone else he happens to fall in love with.

Everytime Angel makes love he'll always have guilt over what would happen because of what he was doing. He'd never have peace no matter who he made love with because he would always be worrying about the out come.

It kind of makes his reason for not making love with the women he loves none existant.

So, what does everyone else think? Do you think Angel will ever experience Perfect Happiness ever again?

I think he will, I mean it happened in his little dream to awaken Angelus, im guessing Angel would just be caught up in the moment and be thinking of the now instead of thinking "Oh im gonna go bad"

I see what you mean. (I'm glad I was the reason that this thread started up btw 🙂) Anyway, I think he could have that moment of true happiness again. But at the moment he is too tense. Know what I mean? He's always thinking that he can't be with anyone because of what could happen if he made love to them. But if he were to actually be with someone... he would relax after a while... like he did with Buffy... and !!!*BAM*!!! Angelus is back! The truth is... you are never as at ease with anyone except the person closest to you.

I as well think he could have a moment of true happiness agian if he were to actually make love with someone he really loves like buffy or Cordelia...Cause he would probley be thinking about that happiness and that moment. Like Primal Slayer mentioned...But i think he is smart enough not to make love to somone he really loves, that would actually turn himself into Angelus

I also think that after a while of controling himself when being with someone(most likely with Buffy), he'd forget bout all the pain and consequences and that one second'd be enough to bring Angelus back..

I dunno,but I hope he will...I miss Angelus lol😛

The first time he lost his soul he didn't know he could actually lose it,so he wasn't worried about it...now,he knows it's dangerous and yada yada...I think he'd be happy for being with Spike..ern,I mean,Buffy...but he wouldn't feel perfectly happy

Well I'm sure he'd kinda get lost in the 'moment' and not really be thinking of the consequences at the time..hehe as so many people do!
