I'm reading the novel Persuasion right now, and was really happy to see that ASH plays Sir Elliot in the 2007 adaptation.

I haven't actually watched it yet, and was planning on it anyways as I've enjoyed most Jane Austen adaptations.

Have any of you seen this one, and have any comments on the film overall or ASH's performance?
 
I was it Chasing and it´s great! I adore his accent lol He´s a great Sir Elliot, in my opinion. I was thrilled when I saw him on screen playing it.
 
What is it? A book? Is it based off his new show Merlin? I really don't know what he has been up to lately.
 
I recently watched this version and I'm sorry to say that I didn't really like it. It might have something to do with the fact that I'm in love with the 1995 version. Oh, and I love ASH, but I thought he was a bit over-dramatic in this role. It was almost too much. But you know those Brits. All a bunch of drama queens! Lol!
