The first one was xbox only, which is too bad for all the other console owners. The first one was done by a company called "the collective". That company also made "Indiana Jones and the Emporers tomb"which is also phenomenal. Although the second one seemed to fit more into the Buffyverse better, and let you control many different characters, and had a real multiplayer element. I still think the first one was better. It really just boiled down to a tighter control. You really felt like you were connecting on your punches and kicks. Plus I felt that you were able to fight better against groups. One other thing is when you knocked a vamp down, and staked him, a staking to the torso was the only thing that would get it done. In the second game it seemed like you could stake a vamp in the leg and he would be dusted. The first one however was ridiculously hard. I remember throwing a controller onto the ground in disgust on more than one occasion. Despite that, I still felt it was better.
