What's a really good photo editor that's not too pricey?

I need to get one for my computer 😀

I'd love to say that there are cheap/free photo editors that work as good as Photoshop (which is my standard for what is good or not), but I can't. I've tried endless amounts of free editors but no one could ever satisfy me. Eh or my needs.

I do recomend to check out this on how to get photoshop without going totally broke.
