Hey all 🙂 I'm not a photographer, I don't even do it as a hobby or on holiday, and I don't usually like photos of landscapes or random places but there's this photographer that really got my attention. Her name is Dina Goldstein, and she did a couple of amazing projects that I'd like to share with you.

This is her website, and the projects that I really like are Fallen Princesses and In the dollhouse.
Some of these pics can make you smile, but I think they all convey a deeper meaning. Especially in the "Fallen Princess" project, each picture depicts a modern day big issue. "In the dollhouse" project has a few shots that I find really emotional, for example the one in which Barbie cuts her hair on the bed.

So, questions! 🙂
- What do you think of these projects?
- Do you enjoy photography?
- Are you a photographer (professional or for hobby)? Share if you want!! 🙂

Hmm...the links in your post didn't work for me but I looked the photographer up and found these projects; I like the Fallen Princesses project much more than the In The Dollhouse project. I thought some of the photos were pretty obvious and not very original, but they were still neat; and technique wise the seem to be done well.

I like photography, but in all honesty over the last several years it's lost a lot of its appeal to me simply because with today's technology just about anyone can take a really good picture. It seems like you don't need as much talent today as you did in the past which I find sad. I really appreciate those who still work with film.

In college I minored in photojournalism but haven't done anything work-wise with photography. A couple of my favorite photographers are James Nachtwey and Annie Liebovitz.

I like photography, I'm not a pro or anything, I just love capturing moments, colour and beauty 🙂
The link didn't work for me either but the 'Fallen Princess' one did. I thought the pictures were good, quite powerful really, just shows what our current world is all about :S

I really like both the collections! I remember the Fallen Princesses one from when you showed me before. But I have to say the in the dollhouse one is even better. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Wow, nice! I really like her Fallen Princesses set... Very cool concept. 🙂 Some of my favorite photographers are Annie Leibovitz, Ansel Adams, Carol Guzy, and Steve McCurry.
I absolutely adore photography. I have been into photography since I was very young; one of my most vivid memories was receiving my very first camera as a birthday present when I turned 10, a purple and teal Vivitar 110. 🙂
Today I consider myself a hobbyist, but I do charge for my photography services. I started charging early this year after having numerous requests for family photos from friends and family members. I am still very much learning, but here is a gallery of some of my work.
