Sooooooooooooo, here's the sitch:

Tomorrow, which much bravery trailing behind me, I plan to get my lip pierced...juuuust for the hell of it...

So here's my questions to all your Lip-Pierced-anese, how much does it hurt?
Bunches, or just a tad?

Yesterday my mate said her nose hurt worse than her nipple ring, and she's since let it close up.

Oh wait you said lip. Well, then, nevermind. 😀

well i have my tongue pierced and that didn't hurt at all. i think that's the cloest you can get on my opinion. better wait till someone with a actual lip piercing gets here to tell you
 
Well considering my three tatoos didn't hurt I don't think it will be that bad and mine were along the spine. A friend of mine has his lip pierced and he didn't complain.

I made mine myself... It didn't hurt at all. But then I went to a pro and got it "extended" and that hurt like... hell. It hurt more than any other peircings I've got, and I've got a septum piercing.

I have a few piercings and tattoos..and I would bet the lip is just like mine were..it's not the actual piercing that hurts, it's probably more the healing time that hurts. And for that you can take painkillers 😀

Oooooh! Got it done guys! (See, Im not a chicken 😛)

But yah, the guy but freezing stuff in my mouth, and it was all liquid-y, but it went under my tongue (instead of the side of my mouth) but I did that all accidently, lol, so, I felt it more than I should.
But, didnt hurt at all, I could just feel it going in really, lol...

Im glad Ive had it done now, I actually like it 😀

That's awesome! I thought about getting it done... I have a HIGH tolerance for pain... And other peircings and tattoos... But the whole military thing... Not allowed... I get in trouble for my cartilege peircings 😛 But yea... I'm getting my tongue done sometime in April... And probably another tattoo 🙂
 
My boyfriend had his done, and he said it was the worst he's ever had. And from him, that means a lot, because he's kinda covered [nose, eyebrow, industrial, 0 gaged ears]. That's probably not what you wanna hear, but it's true.

I can tell you what his piercist did, which was take the needle and go from the inside out, and hook the jewelry through the hollow needle. They say to clean the outside with anitbacterial soap three times a day and the use Listerine or something on the inside. For the first week or so, that's cool, but after that, you can start not cleaning it so much as it heals. At least that's what The Boyfriend did, and his healed nicely. So. I claim to be no piercing expert, just speaking from what I've seen.
 
My friend has his done and he is sexh. I have a thing for lip piercing specially to the side. Lol. I want mine done it would be so cool. My friend said it hurt and now Lee says it dosent hurt so all I need is money and wahoo.

😀 YAY Lee. One of my ex-boyfriends had his lip pierced. It was cool. Mike won't get his done though. Or his tongue... blah! 🙁
