Did you miss the part of the disclosure where we are informed that it's a gay cult?

Did you miss the part of the disclosure where we are informed that it's a gay cult?

Seems that I have. I didn't see that written on any articles on the topic. Isn't that guy married?

I still fail to see how this would mean every politician is part of a gay cult.

@Mr. Pole well I'd find it pretty funny if he got it stuck in an electrical socket 😛 Although it would have to be pretty small for that to happen.

I couldn't tell if the gay cult remark was sarcastic or not. If it's serious then I think you're misguided. Bullingdon Club is an infamous boys club at Oxford University. Whilst a lot of details about it are kept secret and subject to rumour it's membership has included Prime Minister David Cameron, Chancellor George Osborne and Mayor Boris Johnson. They try to play this down and have attempted to suppress images of them together at the time. The Club members are all from elite rich backgrounds. It's famous for bad behaviour including damage to restaurants, burning money in front of homeless people and suspected assaults etc. The film Riot Club is based on Bullingdon, although it does have artistic license.

What it's not famous for is being a gay cult. I believe there have been both gay and straight people involved over the years but it's neither here nor there in regards to the problems with the club and their influence on society.

Lost the link on my crap device, you can trace this article back to one of the MSM reports

Lord Ashcroft alleges in an unofficial biography that PM took part in bizarre ritual at the drinking club, reported to encourage ‘ostentatious decadence’

What have we learned about David Cameron today?

An unofficial biography of David Cameron written by the Conservative donor*Lord Ashcroft*contains a*series of allegations. They include that the prime minister spent time in a drug-taking environment at university, that he took part in a bizarre dinner club initiation ritual, and another claim about Cameron’s knowledge of the peer’s offshore tax status.

One specific allegation is that, in the Daily Mail’s words, Cameron took part in an initiation ceremony in which he “put a private part of his anatomy” into a dead pig’s mouth. It cites a source – a current MP – who claims to have seen photographic evidence. It allegedly took place at the notorious Oxford University drinking club, the Piers Gaveston Society.

Downing Street has declined to comment on the book but a Conservative source said No 10 did not recognise any of the allegations made on the front page of the Daily Mail.

What is the Piers Gaveston Society?

“Piers Gav” is highly exclusive, made up of a self-selecting group of 12 undergraduates. The men-only club, named after Edward II’s alleged lover, was founded in 1977

$$$$$$$and carries the motto: “Fane non memini ne audisse unum alterum ita dilixisse.” It translates to:

Truly, none remember hearing of a man enjoying another so much.$$$$$$$$$

The Mail reports that the club encourages “excess, high camp [and] ostentatious decadence”.

Piers Gaveston members are understood to be given obscure titles such as “Poker”, “Dispenser” and “Catamite”, and they all follow the Sicilian code of*Omertà*– or maintaining silence about the club. In fact, it prides itself on being a clandestine organisation.

What do people say about it?

Valentine Guinness, one of the founders of the society, once told the journalist Toby Young that the appearance of Piers Gav and other similar societies in the 70s “was a conscious effort to say, look, you know, the country may be in a mess but we’re still going to have a good time”.

And so they do. For its summer ball, members each invite 20 guests – preferably more women than men, who were last year given 72 hours’ notice, when they were told to turn up for a hired coach that would drive them to an undisclosed destination in the countryside. “Cross-dressing is as likely to feature as speed-laced jelly,” says the Telegraph of these parties. “The rules are simple – there are none.”

Cameron biography: Ashcroft makes new debauchery claims about student days

The journalist Danny Kemp went to the Piers Gaveston ball in summer 1995. He has a different take on the club. “I guess the first thing to say is that it really wasn’t very debauched,” he said. “I was invited by a friend of a friend who was in the Piers Gaveston Society. The most obvious thing is that it is meant to be raunchy fancy dress. This means a lot of people going in drag [myself included unfortunately], others in what back then looked like bondage-type gear

Pretty much says so here.
And FYI I didn't say every politician is gay or in a club.... But most the worldeaders are.

Also, wasn't expecting to encounter any topics like these on Buffy Boards haha. Don't get me started on this shit, cuz I can government bash alllll day long xD

I still fail to see how this is a gay club? No where does it state it is. Cross dressing doesn't mean this is a gay club/cult. Just sounds like a bunch of spoiled rich idiots joining together for debauchery.

Still, how are most of the world leaders in a gay cult? I see no indications towards this.

(PS. @Mr. Pole is that what you have in your living room? I knew you were kinky, but that's just a whole other level!)

Actually it's TWO hole other levels.

You make that sound like a bad thing. What happened to people having fun. I can't believe that I am not the stick in the mud for once!

It's all in good fun until you end up with a tooth stuck in your wiener
Ostentatious decadence does not mean that it has anything to do with homosexuality and neither does its name.

From what I know of the club and lets be fair I hadn't heard of this particular one until today, but I have come across many similar ones, yes there is sexual activity but from what is reported members invite fellow female students to the parties.

I don't think anyone is under any pretence about where the likes of Cameron comes from or what he represents. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

The other parties will be loving this.
TBH I loved flicking through my Twitter timeline in a few idle moments at work...some great gags...but yea, this kind of stuff has been going on for years, not just here in Blighty - fraternity hazing, Skull and Bones etc. at US universities for example.

"at US universities" yeah, sadly we are exporting all of our greatest treasures.
Today's social media has been hilarious, and all sorts of stories are crawling out the woodwork.
