I know this has been asked before, but I hadn't played bass for a good while then started again a few weeks ago. I missed it a lot. I love music, I love learning it, listening to it, understanding how it works. (But ask me what note I'm playing and I'm clueless😛)


Can you play a musical instrument? Or, have you always wanted to learn?

I never really had an interest in learning guitar, just bass. Bass players are cool. 😀
 
I play keyboard at grade 5/6 ish...i thought i'd add the grade in so that people know it's not just me hitting the keys randomly :lol2:...i also enjoy strumming on the guitar...i can play three songs, The Angel Theme, The Buffy Theme and some of Hey There Delilah 😀 But that's it so that doesn't really count 😛
 
I can play a few instruments but not well, I can play a song from a video game on keyboard. I can play a few riffs of In Flames on Guitar and I can drum a little to.

I've always wanted to learn how to durm properly though.

I'm a pro at Guitar Hero though 😛

I really wish I could play but thus far I have been deemed musically challenged.

In first year of secondary school we were made take music as a subject and part of that was learning the recorder. EPIC FAIL. I got 98% on the written exam but failed the practical so bad that I got a D minus as my overall grade lol. We had to play the Grand Old Duke of York on the recorder, I hadn't a clue so I just blew the tune into the recorder like it was a whistle lol

I got a guitar a few years back but realised quickly that it was a doomed venture. First off I appear to be left hand-handed when it comes to guitar playing (even though I am right handed) of course I would be awkward like that lol second of all I didn't have the patience to learn the notes so once a again I just started strumming tunes instead of actually learning to play them.

I didn't fair much better with guitar hero. I failed the tutorial lol My friends say I look like I am having some sort of fit when I play it...oh, well! At least I'm keeping them entertained!

Not to be deterred by my extensive failures I think I'm gona take up the bodhran (Irish drum) and the tin whistle...just to see what happens 😀

I also used to sing a fair bit. But I really want to learn guitar, or something else really cool. Maybe the tamborine.... 😉

Tamborines are quite cool i guess...but nothing can compare to the mighty triangle :D
Played a few songs on the guitar when i was younger and only one tune on the piano which was the entertainer loved that tune, I would like to go back to them one day there great instruments.
 
I play guitar, acoustic, electric, either one.

I only really learned in college to accompany my myself. I only play for myself and to express myself, and although i consider myself fairly good, i view it more as an expressive thing than something to show to other people. My tastes in music range from classical, to acoustic to metallica, music is more about feeling something than identifying with a one particular genre.
 
Used to play the alto saxaphone many, many moons ago in junior high. I've since forgotten how.

I have a Yamaha keyboard and a quattro guitar at home that I have been meaning to learn how to play for years, but I'm too lazy to.

I used to play too! Quit before high school though. Wasn't going to go down in history as "band geek". But I could probably pick it back up and play it..

I can also play a total of.. two songs on the guitar. "Tomorrow" by Avril Lavigne. And "Blessed Be Your Name".

OH! And I can play the keyboard.. you know single notes. One hand. Well, a little of both hands. And easy chords..
 
I attempted to play guitar when i was 16. Bought a ridiculously expensive electric guitar. I failed miserably, and sold it on e-bay a few years back. I play a mean triangle though.
 
I Play the guitar and am currently up to grade 5 on my classical guitar exams, theres 8 grades and i can't wait to finally finish it!

I play both electric and acoustic but only take lessons for Classical to build up my technique.
