playing Buffy: Chaos Bleeds

I know many people here have played the Chaos Bleeds game. Now that the game is older and harder to find.. what I am getting at is, is it downloadable for PS3 or XBOX360? I can't find it on the PS3 site to download- I know you can download older games.

Are there any consoles to play it on without purchasing an old ps2? I've heard of things you can buy to make the older games playable.. I dunno if those are legal, or just frowned upon, or perfectly legal.. I have no idea.

Does anyone play it now any other way?

I'm not sure you can download it. I was able to find a version for the original Xbox on Amazon, however. You may check there and eBay. Used game stores (small stores, NOT GameStop) may be useful here, as well.

As for playing it - I'm not sure about the PS3, but on the Xbox 360, as long as you have a hard drive installed, you can play any game from the original Xbox. You just *have* to have a hard drive installed. It is perfectly legal, obviously.

I hope you are able to find someway to play. It's a great game. (Though, IMO, the original Buffy game is better, but that's another topic...)

I have this on GameCube. It's pretty good fun if you're a Buffy fan.

Like SlayerOfVampyrs, I managed to get mine on Amazon pre-owned for next to nothing. I did a quick search and theres tons of copies on Amazon pretty cheap. Or try E-Bay.

Depending on which model of PS3 you have, it can play PS2 games.

I used to play it on Gamecube years ago. I guess I need to figure out what kind of PS3 I have and make the purchase. With the large game selection of downloadable games, I figured this game would be one of them.

It isn't on the Playstation store. My best advice would be Amazon. That's where I tracked down my copy, and I also got the strategy guide from the same place 🙂

Can't offer much help, but great game! Lots of fun for a Buffy fan! I also played it on the GameCube so I now play it on my Wii, but I have no clue about the PS3. I hope you find it!

You can't download it on Xbox Live which sucks. You can still find both games pretty cheap though on Amazon & Ebay. Just look for a used copy that's in like new condition. That's where I got both of mine a couple months ago.

The game isn't available for download because, of the two publishers of the game, one doesn't exist anymore as a company and the other probably had a deal with Fox that expired a while ago, meaning that they can't release the game there without negotiating a new deal, which simply isn't worth the time and money for something that is such a niche product (face it, there aren't that many of us who'd buy it)

I have the XBox version... Haven't tried to play it on the 360, but it was an awesome game! I usually hate console games, but this was one I had to play (for obvious reasons, of course!). I may have to pull it out and dust it off. 😀
I would definitely try EBay and Amazon for buying it.

Ill have to figure out a way to play it on my PS3. I do have a Wii.. which is supposed to play the Gamecube versions, right? Do you need a Gamecube controller or can you use the Wiimote?

You can play the GameCube version on your Wii. All games are compatible but you will need a GC controller.

As the others have said, look up on Amazon. 😉 Chaos Bleed was a really fun game. It felt like a lost episode of Buffy to me.

I think that Ebay has better prices- at least on the GameCube versions that I've been looking at. So has anybody had luck playing the Xbox version on the 360?
