Playing Thread Seven

Tara- Magic Box

::Tara walks over to Anya and looks at the amulet. She gently takes the amulet out of Anya's hand::

Anya: "It looks like... I can't remember the name. But..."

::Tara places the ambulet on the counter::

"Pateo."

::The amulet opens up::
 
Anya~Magic Box

:: Anya walks to the counter amazed ::

Tara: "How......? But.....? How did you know what to do?"

(Maybe I can use a magic box supplier to check this thing out. No, Giles would go all ANYA!)

:: She lifts it from the counter ::
 
Xander -- Library

Oz: "Wait--this was all a ploy to get me out of research?"

:: his eyes widen at the slyness of Oz ::

Oz: "Dude, if you weren't a guy, I'd kiss you right now."

:: he approaches the other guys awkwardly ::

Oz: "I'll settle for a manly thank you handshake..."

:: sticks out his hand ::
 
Anya~Magic Box

(The spells are more important. The amulet is sideline work.)

Tara & Willow: "Better get crackin on those protection spells."

(Good thing I don't have demons lurking after me)

Tara and Willow: "Hey! I stay with Xander! You must go now!"
 
Oz- Library

::Smiles quickly and shakes Xander's hand::

Xander: "No problem."

::He stands around, looking at Xander and not sure what to do::

Tara- Magic Box

::Still looking at the amulet, not sure on its authenticity she puts it down and turns to Anya::

Anya: "I think I saw a book on protection spells somewhere"

::She walks over to a bookcase. After a few minutes she looks back at Anya::

Anya: "Oh-okay then."
 
Willow- Magicbox

:: Willow smiles then looks to Tara::

Tara:"Did you get your half of the stuff we need to do the protection spell for everyone?"

:: Puts her half of the stuff on the counter then double checks to make sure she got the things she was supposed to get ::
 
Tara- Magic Box

Willow: "Oh... um yes. I just got distracted."

::She closes the book she was looking at and walks over to a display, she picks up a few items and walks over to Willow::

Willow: "Got them."

::She smiles::
 
Willow

::She smiles back at tara then sighs...::

Tara:"We better get back to Giles' place and start to get this ready before it gets to dark..."

:: Smiles at tara and looks to Anya ::

Anya:"Can we have a bag for all to carry the stuff in back to giles please.."
 
Xander -- at the library

:: scratches his head, and looks at the cage ::

Oz: "So, are you supposed to just reinforce the cage, or are you supposed to be locked in for the night?"

:: he bites his lip, not quite knowing what to do ::

(Will is normally the one who comes in here to say night-night to Oz. I just don't know what to do...)
 
Giles - home

::Giles sits rereading the all too brief mention he found in an old obscure book about the Power of Five.::

(I wonder if the girls have found the stuff we might need at the magic shop.)
 
Tara- Magic Shop

::Tara smiles nervously at Willow and nods::

Willow: "Okay."

Oz- Library

Xander: "Nothing really, tends to hold me. Odd though, looks flimsy."

::Oz reflects on that thought::

Spike- Sewers

"Bugger this, I'll go see if that bint has anything interesting to offer."

::Heads back to his crypt::
 
Harmony-crypt

::Jumps up and runs towards spike with ahuge grin on her face::

SPIKE: "Hey Spiky, I've been waiting all day! Where have you been?"
 
Harmony- crypt

Spike: "I'm not giddy blondy bear, all I'm doind is trying to welcome you! You said I was boring so now im trying to make it less boring! But then you push me away! 🙁 "
 
Spike- Crypt

Harmony: "Well don't try so hard."

::Spike sighs and takes his coat off and throws it on a chair::

(Bloody Women)

Harmony: "Anything happen while I was gone?"
 
Harmony - crypt

SPIKE: "Nope, justread magazines. Very boring without you."

(like you care)
 
Spike- Crypt

::He collapses in a chair::

(What does she expect me to say to that? Oh Harmony it was so dull without you as well)

::He rolls his eyes to himself. There's a pause::

Harmony: "Oh sodding hell, how long until the sun sets Harm?"
 
Harmony- crypt

SPIKE: "Oh, I dunno...not long?Why?! We gonna do something together??
