Please help with a decision

I would have put this in the figures forum but it doesn't get much action there, sadly!

I have a chance to purchase a 12" D'hoffyn who is very rare, or a 12" Darla in blue, who is also very rare.

Darla in red is the same figure as the blue, the blue is just well blue. And I like it a bit more. Red darla is not as hard to find, yet still a bit rare.

Both the D'hoffryn and Darla are about the same price. And I want them both equally. For me, in this case it's not about which character I like more or less. I want to make it about the most rare. Like I said, I can get red darla, i am not worried there, but blue darla not so much.

Can anyone please, give me some sort of guidance. What would you do?

I assume that you are buying these as collectibles, not toys, so the only thing I could give as advise would be, decide which one you think will be the most desirable to own in the future, and which will be available for the shortest time. (Not much help, huh? Sorry, but the only criteria I've ever used in buying collectibles has been, "Which one do I want the most?" and "Which one can I most easily afford?" Still not much help, huh? Well maybe somebody else can give you some better advise. )

They are both similar in price with only a 20.00 difference. The D'hoffryn I would say is the most difficult to find because I can get the darla figure in red. But I don't like the red as much as the blue. Then again, same face. It's tough. I have these as collectibles but will never sell them.
One least likely available in time is D'hoffryn out of the figures, but againts blue darla, prob the same.

ok well have you thought about buying both? Buy one outright now and put the other one on a Credit Card? That way you have the time to pay it off? That way you dont have to worry aobut missing out on them or breaking your budget...I mean $45 isn't that much to come up with in a month if you really want it. Just a thought.

Haha I wish they were selling for only 45. These are rare now, so they sell in the hundreds a piece. Plus shipping.

The reason I can't get both is because I am also getting premium format buffy. $250.00.

oh well the link said it was $45 lol sorry...I am not a collector that is pretty steep...now I see your dilema...I would go for D'Hoffron because he seems like he'd be harder to find 🙂 have you looked on Ioffer for these dolls?

V, I checked that place out, only one Buffy sideshow on there, I have it, and if I didn't, too expensive anyways. But now I will keep that place in mind. Thanks.
