I too am sorry if I've ever caused problems for you mods. You guys really do an awesome job around here, keeping this place running and doing soooo much stuff for us. You guys really do deserve to be treated better. If it weren't for you, this place wouldn't even be up and running!

Wow so much praise for mod's that if you really gave a **** about they wouldn't have to post whiny post like this. Hero/SlayerDrow/Kazby are so apt to kiss ass because they know they are dicks who caused all the troubles by being idiots. I really hope your faux praised get's you some type of special treat from the mod's. As I recall a mod said they can see through pathetic kiss ass attempts. That remains to be true.

I was mod in a forum with 8,346 members, was hard. And I has a forum with 1000 members and I was the principal admin and It was hard.
From my point... I think if you are a webmaster is cuz you like that, you are fan of the subject of your web (forums).
That doesn't mean you don't have life... you have life this is a hobby...
But yeah, are poeple who takes this seriusly... but sometimes are the members no the staff.
I think the staff of here do a great job.
Keep it the good job!

We praise the mods for the great job that they do, and they deserve it. It's nto fake, or to suck up to them. they truely deserve it.
 
Ok, that's you're opinion. I get that. I'm not gonna argue with you; we all have opinions. My opinion is that the mods here are great, and theyre doing an awesome job at running this. Sorry if that doesn't work for you, shekinah.
 
Can we please keep all posts on this thread civil? Buffy Summers and Jacklyn have requested that we do so and that's the only way the thread will stay opened. I'd hate to see it get closed when something good could come out of it with further use.

Speaking as a member first and moderator second, it's great to know you've got our backs.

Myself, I accepted the offer to moderate, hopefully not to inflate my ego (for one thing it doesn't need it), but because it was something new, might be fun, and someone had to do it.

If no-one moderated, this board just wouldn't be as much fun. And hey if the administrators weren't putting this board out there, we'd all be somewhere else. I don't wanna go. It's so much easier just to say "Thank you. Keep up the good work".

Jacks, as I said before you are the woman (we'll not go any further down that gangsta road😉)

None of us come on here to get grief, we just try to keep things as friendly as we can for the members. It's a "discussion" forum not a "slag people off 'cos I think I'm cleverer than them" forum. Once or twice the sarky comments are funny but when they start to become the norm for no apparent reason then this mod is thinking of hanging up his modding trousers...OK, I don't mind people taking the piss out of me as I can understand it but it's not big or clever to start on kids whose first language isn't English or who are 13 or 14 year-olds...let's see a bit of common sense please.

Some of us just need to take into consideration everything that you guys have been putting up with. Things around here have kinda sucked lately, but you guys are really turning that around. This place is always gonna be great, but I think that all this has really taught us a lesson. We learned that you guys really do work your butts off trying to keep this place in check. You don't have to do this. You're choosing to do this, and I'd say 99% of us really appreciate that 😀
 
I wholeheartedly agree with what most everyone said. The mods here are what keeps this place going. In case you haven't noticed, Buffy and Angel have both been layed to rest ... so why didn't the mods and the people running this place just close it down? Because they know that a nice, respectful online community is just what some people need after coming home from a nine hour job and an outside life like myself. It's really awesome the amount of caring and generous people that are here simply to make this place a better place. I seriously can't give the mods enough praise. If that's kissing ass, call me Jordan: Brown-noserific, cause I couldn't care less.

Haha, when you said ego I was like "what? why are they talking about waffles?" but then i remebered that was eggo lol...and just so I don't get in trouble for being off topic I think that all of this chaos has really made an improvement!

Here speaks the heart of our resident "fluffy puppy with bad teeth". And I'm totally on your side hunny. I know you guys do lots of work to make this place the home I've grown to love and I love you for it. Keep it up. And all those who don't think before they post.... please let this be a lesson to you!
