PM's that aren't there

The past few days I've been getting email notifications that I'm getting PM's from people, but upon signing in and checking my inbox there is no messages. For example, I got a PM from Buffy Summers and Old Master III today. I looked in the FAQ, but I couldn't find anything.

I would say they are probably old emails that just took a while to get to your account.

Happens to me all the time so don't worry about it.

I thought maybe it was old ones that didn't come through too, but now Jenny just told me she hasn't gotten the PM's I've sent her this week and I sent like 4 or 5. So, maybe my PM's are messed up in general?

I'm not sure if you've replied to my PM about that but I still haven't gotten any PM's from you this week.

Jenny - i did reply yesterday, and I sent you another one I think.

Well, I don't know what to tell you, except that I send and receive probably more pm's than anyone on the boards and I haven't had this happen.

I'm thinking it might be that an error occurred while it was sending, so that it didn't get sent but the email had already been dispatched.

Are you sure those weren't emails notifying you about posts in your subscribed threads?
