Podcast?

Hey everyone i was wondering if anyone would wanna start a podcast on here I am thinking a 7 episode season about a hour each focusing on each season talking about out favorite moments behind the scene trivia foreshadowing and talk about context and a deeper meaning anyone interested? and also i think maybe picking some songs that fit the theme of the seasons?

Hey, well I love to talk as much as the next person but.... there are a lot of Buffy podcasts out there in the world, most of whom go into episodic detail and span hundreds of episodes. I should know, I've listened to or am listening to most of them. 😉

I don't think a 7 episode podcast would be worth it. You'd struggle to comprehensively fit one season into an hour's podcast, especially with all the subject matter you mentioned.

Not trying to rain on your parade, just logically I don't think it'd work.

I support the idea of a Buffy podcast, I listen to a lot of them. But one hour per season is very tough. You can't get into enough detail in one hour for the whole season. So you'd have to really pick out certain points that you want to discuss. Like instead of talking about episodes, you just talk about the characters, or big bad or season arc. It's very difficult to do in a short amount of time. I'd suggest doing two podcast episodes per season, at maybe 1.5 hrs. That said, if you do it, I'll listen to it!

thanks everyone! I was just wondering beacouse part of me wanted too go longer then a hour i just dont know what the usaual podcast is length wise. and more episodes sound good i was just writing out a rough draft.

Most of the podcasts I listen to are anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes - so I think an episode a season could work.

You wouldn't be able to go into a ton of detail but if the host kept things on track I think you could hit all the major arcs and discuss them for several minutes. Could be like a neat BTVS overview sort of thing.

I can't help with a podcast but I'd listen to it if you made it.
